Hunt Mobs clogging quest areas

When Heavenwards went live everyone naturally flocked to those areas. In the process there was no demand for the S level Hunt Mobs in the old areas so they can stay in 1 locations for hours/days at a time. In addition SE did not institute Beast Tribe Quests in Heavenwards so many players still do the older ones for their Ventures and other rewards. There have been several occasions where these two facts have collided making the completion of the quests impossible. Until such time as SE releases new Beast Tribe quest and for those who have not made it to Ishgard yet I recommend that a time be placed on these mob moving them to different area if they have not been engaged, say 3 hours. Opinions?

Why should I do that when no one wants these Mobs anymore. There are better ones elsewhere in the new areas. People do not want to waste time with yesterdays news. If the history of this game is any indication then SE should have know this was going to happen and should have made provisions for it. Now is their chance to correct this.

In all seriousness, though. It's depressing to see how every attemp at open world content from SE is such a colossal flop.

Once watched a SCH virtually solo an A rank outside of Mist. The name of the mob is escaping me atm...the sea serpent one. Was passing through on my SMN and stopped to lend a hand.

Two people. Granted, they were pet jobs....but still. Two level 60's took down an A rank.

I stumbled on the Manticore in Costa one day and threw up a PF and we took him down with 8 people.

Just saying. It doesn't take a mass of players to take them down in the ARR zones...for some you may not even need a full party.

To be fair I once solo'd Cornu - he was bugging this poor newbie and so I was like "okay let's do this", summoned my chocobo, got out Eos, and went to town.

It took like 20 minutes but I did it.

If most of what you are saying is true and are done within the first 3 hours then the transfer would not activate. But a lot of time people are not available such as the morning or early afternoon hours when I do my quests. Are you saying that I must wait til Prime Time in the hope that I can get people to U'Ghamaro in the hopes of clearing this Mob?

Or maybe....IDK round up a few friends/LS/FC mates to take them out if it is that important.

Usually all I had to do is put up the PF, announce it in the chat channels, shout it out and sit for a bit. Once the key roles are filled and people feel comfortable we pull it. Even if I'm not interested in them I still announce and shout them out, just in case someone wants to take them out.

Just like it is more of a player driven problem then game design, there is a player driven solution of sorts.

Final remark on the subject. It has been 6 hours I first tried to do this quest. That big buzzard is still there and I still cannot get help. Not important enough. It will probably still be there when I return tomorrow.

If you put a party finder up or shout in any major city people come in droves for S ranks on Hyperion. Quite obviously no one comes if you don't let enough people know.

EDIT: there I just killed him for you. Next time you see an unsightly A rank let me know, I will happily kill it for the seals.
