You mean, when people were actually forming groups and playing together in a mmo rather than the solo grindfest we have now ? When dps couldn't survive solo unless the were utterly overleveled for the zone ? When the trinity was actually a trinity instead of the "dps, dps with extra hp, dps with heal utility" that we have now ?

I play tank to play a tank, not a dps. The current tank meta is really borderline on what I can accept as a tank, and if they push it anymore, I might just become a "lazy piece of sh*t healer who doesn't dps". Blame me for wanting to do my job all you want, if I wanted to do "hurr durr dps", I'd roll a dps.
