    My ideas for PLD improvements

    I just wanted to throw in my two cents about improving PLD and bringing them up to snuff with the other tanks, as well as making some of their skills more useful in general.

    1- Give Sword Oath a "Raises physical damage dealt by 5%" buff in addition to the auto attack buff.

    - I firmly believe that PLD should not have buffs and abilities that increase their overall ability to have high out going damage so high that they surpass the other two tanks, which both seem more offensive in the first place, and that's fine. However, it's a known fact that PLD is lacking in damage right now, which content seems to be requiring in order to clear. Giving Sword Oath a buff isn't entirely unreasonable.

    2- Give Flash the added effect "Deals an attack with 40 potency to all nearby targets"

    - PLD's aoe capabilities are already harder to utilize than the other two tanks. This buff can add some much needed aoe damage and increased enmity generation on one of PLD's most often used skills.

    3- Add an effect to Divine Veil "Grants Hastened Clemency: The next Clemency is cast instantly"

    - Divine Veil in it's current state is a hard skill to overly justify. It's one of those skills you have, so you just throw it on when it's off cooldown, because of the amount of difficulty involved in getting it to work how you want to, when you want to, due to the fact it needs your healer to trigger it's full effect. In order to justify it's use and make it's cooldown make sense, why not give it the ability to work in tandem with Clemency? You would gain a one minute buff in which the next Clemency you use wouldn't have to be cast, but it still utilizes MP.

    4- Shield Swipe gains the extra effect "Adds 20 potency to your next physical attack".

    Falls in line with the reasoning for the Sword Oath change.

    1. Sword Oath - Channel your holy might into offensive prowess, imbuing your sword with holy power, causing it to glow an extension, giving it the appearance of a 2h-sword, increasing the potency of your skills to the same level as DRK. While Sword Oath is active, you tuck your shield away onto your back.

    2. Flash - Trait enhanced Flash, imbues your Flash with the holy power of Banish. Your flash spell now damage with a potency of X to enemies around you.

    4. Shield Swipe, off-gcd, enmity generation, cannot be used while under the effects of Sword Oath. Currently because it's on GCD its one of your least used skills.

    While the other 2 tanks can still stun in their dps stance, with your suggestion, you took it away from PLD. Oh no shield. No Lobs for you as well.

    IMO, Sword Oath is fine as it is. If it needed tweaking, an increase of the auto-attack potency from 50 to 60 or 70 will likely fix it. Do not forget that as GLA, we have FoF which is unique to us.

    As for Flash, I guess it would be great that when a target is already immune to blind, it will instead deal damage to it.

    As for Swipe, bring it down to mudra level of cooldown. /giggles
