This dungeon is very essential for the story. Removing it from MSQ would be nonsense. They should just put it in the main scenario roulette.

But I'd like to ask, don't you have some friends in the game to do dungeons with ? Don't you have a free company ? If not, you should meet people, because that's how an MMORPG is played.

While I do have a FC and received no help with this problem, I'd like to object to the "that's the way a MMORPG is being played".

No. This is not true for FFXIV, where most content is solo and you get your group action from a queuing tool that works cross-server. This is not like older MMOs, where servers developed real communities. It's more like MacDonald's Drive-Thru, where you queue up, do your run, then never meet those people again.

Again, DF is a convenience tool, not the only tool. XIV does condition you to rely on the DF far too often, so this mentality isn't unfounded - but given that you've tried for 3 days to get this done through DF did you never think to try PF once? Surely after the 2nd day you'd realize that was at least worth a shot more than sitting in DF for an eternity.

It's how YOU play it but it's far from being the best way. Trust me. You can find people who will be glad to do dungeons and content with you and you will have a better time playing the game.

Sounds like a real good guy FC. Maybe you should rethink if the company alligns with your interests as a player.

Yes but if the drive-thru is closed, you do into the store and order from the counter.
And if for some reason that's not accessible, you find your food elsewhere.

The McDrive-thru isn't the only option for you to eat. Likewise, you can find groups elsewhere in this MMO. DF is only one tool to use.

That all being said, the instance should really be added to a roulette. The Main Scenario one, perhaps.

Anyone here actually tried to do group content in FFXI that had no rewards? So much for older MMOs developing real communities...

1st of all OP.. Yea I agree we have had the same MSQ roulette since day 1 it needs some new shit anyway. I'd bug your friends until they help you though.

Now on to one of the best quotes I've seen in recent years regarding MMOs

^^^ THIS IS SO ACCURATE. WoW brought about the age where MMORPGs are basically just ORPGs. They literally do everything they can to make it where you can get through the whole game without ever speaking to another human being and its damn sad. There are plenty of single player games already but instead of playing those people came around and destroyed what MMOs were about.

A Veteran MMO gamer knows that the experience of the game is stretched out over years, and if crafted properly, it leaves players with some of the best gaming experiences to be found anywhere.

I hate the duty finder a lot because of this. And I'm not even that social. And on top of that the devs make many things too easy because of it Alexander story mode why is it easier to clear this at level 60 yet people seem wipe to Bismark normal more than A4?

But to OP's post no that dungeon should not be removed from main story but it should have been added to expert roulette. Problem of doing that thou is there's no chests for gear there.

eh it is a main story dungeon.. we have this whole main story queue that already doesn't drop loot.... and hasn't seen new content added since the roulettes came into being. Personally I'd welcome a change from Cm/Prae
