Remove ARF from the MSQ

Hello,

I've been trying to get to do the Aetherochemical Research Facility to end the MSQ, for 3 days now. I got a group the first day, but wipe after wipe led to the group disbanding, since then, no more queue pops for me.

The one group I had, I went as BLM, where I truly sucked at keeping up Enochian (as was to be expected with something you get last minute after having leveled with a different rotation), but that didn't wipe us - we all had our problems.

Since then, I've been queuing with my Scholar, but a group doesn't even pop up.
I'm living in Japan and playing on the busiest Japanese server, Tonberry, by the way. Transferring anywhere will probably not help me much.

This dungeon is not in any roulette. Nobody who did it once does it ever again (maybe some people do, for fun, but there's no real reason to do it), so the queues are just dead.

As a result I am now stuck with my char, being Lv 60 SMN/SCH/BLM, locked out from Lv 60 content. I can now basically quit the game, because it's game over for me at this point.
Or level even more classes to 60, where the game just ends without a proper ending.

Please either remove the dungeon from the MSQ and replace it with something else, or put it into the duty roulette, "main scenario" or "expert roulette".

I will level alt classes for now, but I can already see my motivation going down the drain.

This dungeon is very essential for the story. Removing it from MSQ would be nonsense. They should just put it in the main scenario roulette.

But I'd like to ask, don't you have some friends in the game to do dungeons with ? Don't you have a free company ? If not, you should meet people, because that's how an MMORPG is played.

Honestly, it COULD be added to either Main Scenario roulette or even Trial Roulette. However, that isn't going to fix your real problem of finding people that can actually finish the content. ARF is easy, I don't know why people would wipe on it. As Freyja said above, if queueing normally isn't working, maybe put something into PF or try reaching out to your FC?

Going to have to echo trying PF. This is an MMO after all, DF is supposed to be a convenience tool not the only tool.

No. This is not true for FFXIV, where most content is solo and you get your group action from a queuing tool that works cross-server. This is not like older MMOs, where servers developed real communities. It's more like MacDonald's Drive-Thru, where you queue up, do your run, then never meet those people again.

It should be in one of the roulettes. Period.

In this instance SE screwed up horribly - there is no loot, so if it isn't in roulette nobody who done it is going to bother, unless they want to help somebody else. Combine it with simple fact that groups made entirely of new players have nobody to carry them through it and many new players get as you said "stuck".

Again, DF is a convenience tool, not the only tool. XIV does condition you to rely on the DF far too often, so this mentality isn't unfounded - but given that you've tried for 3 days to get this done through DF did you never think to try PF once? Surely after the 2nd day you'd realize that was at least worth a shot more than sitting in DF for an eternity.

It's how YOU play it but it's far from being the best way. Trust me. You can find people who will be glad to do dungeons and content with you and you will have a better time playing the game.

You can repeat yourself until you're blue in the face, fact is, nobody does it anymore, period.

I even asked in FC chat and got 1 DD to help me, and no queue popped. Please don't try to tell me how there are 1000 ways to complete it - there aren't, in the real world. The few people who gotta do it might have help from their FC, I do not, all I have is the DF.

They probably originally didn't think it would sit outside a roulette for 5 months. Do remember this has been a somewhat unusual break between content. I will be very surprised if its not in a roulette in 3.1.

Personally I'm not sure the MSQ roulette is the way to go unless they updated the rewards. People aren't going to want to do it for poetics. I don't think many people with lvl 60 characters queue for the MSQ roulette.

On a side note, since your on my World Kazeandi, if you friend me and spot me on at the same time as you I can lend you a hand with the queue if I'm free. At the very least a healer should shorten the queue time somewhat and I still need LAW.

The Party Finder can be hit and miss since a large portion of the server only speaks Japanese.
