BRDs not using WM -_-

Okay so first off I'm not here to bad mouth BRDs

Now I have had it! every single time I'm in a dungeon with a BRD I notice they arnt using WM at all like zero percent of the time, and this just drives me crazy...

I understand yes WM freaking sucks so bad from what I read on the forums, I would feel the same way if they turned my DRG into a caster as well BUT please don't make the people you are in a party with suffer for this...

Dungeons are taking Way longer then they were intended to take...dps checks arnt being met or other dps are forced to play 110% more then their usual to make up for the lack of dps from one..

This is very counter productive no dungeon should take 45mins cause you choose to play selfishly..

My question is why not use WM when the parties need both dps to play optimally, or why even play BRD if you will never use the skill?

First of, no one can play 110%, you can´t do more than you are able to do.

I hear my MCH in the Raid complain about gauss as well, asking me how I can stand with this, but well, as a BLM, what shall I say.

Still, even if a Bard uses it or not, I never seen an DPS check unchecked just because of not using WM.

From Bards perspective... most explicityl choose it because of the mobility, and won´t adjust to the changes, because many peoples attitude is "f*** it, i play how i want"

Don´t want to turn this in a parser discussion, because if some people would see their performance, they´d sink in the ground for shame, but als long as you are able to finish the dungoen, they think of "who cares", even if it takes twice the time...

I see this every time i play with my Girlfriend like last time Batman Arkham Series.

While im upto making the perfect 100+ Combo and shredding jokers guys without getting one hit, she mostly mashes the buttons and can´t remember how to K.O. that Knife-Guys efficiently she just had 3 Minutes before in a 5 pack... even thou the game throws hints about the ideal combo for them at you all the time.

It turns me crazy when she hangs out literally hours in the same area where I scanned it with my mind 7 times now for secrets...

I enjoy efficiency, she enjoys playing as it is and the fun of it, ... and sometimes I wonder, if that´s not the more fun way.

morale of the story: Not everyone runs a Dungeon to record a Speedrun of finishing it faster than the whole world, some just want to hang out in there and have some fun.

If WM works like GB, it's not always in your interest to keep it up 100% of the time. On the other hand, if your BRDs aren't even turning it on, that's pretty terrible.

Also, sight unseen, there's a high probability those BRDs are undergeared like mad, so even if they did use WM they'd still be dead weight. WM isn't so much of a DPS boost that you'd go from 4 to 2 if your weapon is still i90.

... not everbody plays videoGAMES for efficiency...

most people have job´s for that* ;-)

* (and even if it is what pays their debts, even there most people go for a 50% approach - but that´s a completely different topic) xD

Gonna just say one thing.

If their dps is so low out of WM that the dungeon took 45m, assuming you're doing stellar DPS beside them, boosting that damage by the 30% from WM isn't going to change shit. 130% of a bard playing at 30-40% efficiency is still just 39-52% of their potential efficiency.

Personally this right here is usually why I leave the issue alone when I don't see WM or GB being used... like as long as we reach the goal I don't care.

Doesn't stop me from internally groaning and complaining in my head the whole run.

If you see a bard/machinist not using their stance AT ALL then by all means kick them. You kick tanks that don't hold aggro and healers that can't heal so there is no reason not to kick dps that won't use their stuff.

Well I just got WM when i hit 52 a couple of weeks ago, and in my opinion it's useless as tits on a bull without EA, IJ and the level 60 skill. Y'know cast times, no auto attack, totally borked procs.... >.<
I've always been the sort to stand still more often than not so that's not an issue. So I'm just trying to level up to 60 for the full kit...maybe then I'll like my bard again

This is actually such a good point. Just because a bad DPS usually isn't directly related to a party wiping, they shouldn't be let off the hook easy.
