I am behind the idea of getting a parser with the ps4. Hell, if people are that against parsers in roulette content, why not a scorecard at the end of the dungeon/trial like is done in PvP?

Because that doesn't really give anyone an incentive to improve in that instance, and after that, and after that, etc. The people who don't try in the first place won't care about their score (the people we are constantly complaining about). Heck probably all of 5 people actually look at the scoreboard at the end of PVP out of 72.

Besides your idea is based on the fact we actually complete the content. Which may work for dungeons where other people can carry easily. But it would be worthless for anything else. And people do still fail dungeons believe me :'(

Everyone we complain about being bad would literally just look at the score and shrug their shoulders and be on their merry way because they got what they want. And they'll get what they want again and again while constantly being carried by the better players and just cause more issues down the line.

I know you stated for roulette only, but adding a scoreboard is really a waste of time because it doesn't promote getting better because of the way DF works and you'll likely never see those players again so it doesn't matter seeing your score at the end of the instance.

Yeah I know lol. Like I said I'm in full support of PS4 getting a parser. I almost literally drag my PC friend around dungeons and lower level raids with me to parse me so I know if I'm getting any better at applying the rotation in various instances, as he got bored of parsing me on the dummy lol. If I could parse myself I wouldn't need to rely on other players to try and become a better dps*


*Said with full realization raiding is a team effort and the group gets stronger together ideally, but I like to know I can be the best I can be for any team I join.

I feel bad for your friend, because I've experienced the same thing with my static all for the greater good though! So kudos! I wish we had a few thousands players more like you

I also want to throw a quote in here for everyone against parsers that many are simply ignoring..

The game is heavily reliant from the ground up on DPS performing in content, yet the only tool we have that offers live feedback is a third party program that isn't officially supported by the developers.

That's an issue.
