To use another example - is the tank's role to do damage or to hold hate? If so would you mind if they stopped dealing damage once hate is secured?

Secondly almost everyone wants the dungeon run to go quicker. That is the goal to complete the content in minimal amount of time. Why? Because of the design of the game it is run multiple times. First time healer? No problem focusing on heals and I know someone is first time because of message. Content is still new I have no issues with them playing it safe. But the simple fact is 3 other people in that dungeon want it done quicker and it can be done quicker but you want to be lazy about it. It is principally no different than a DPS being lazy about their rotation. There are no 'primary objectives' and 'secondary objective' nonsense. Everyone wants the same thing.
