1. the possibility of having a separate "resource bank" in which we can craft anywhere (or only at a "crafting bank" without them in your inventory) without having to have the materials in your inventory, and being able to deposit (only) materials to it from anywhere (even without a bell).

I have seen this in other games and there are players asking about being able to craft from retainer's inventory. But I don't think Savagelf is asking about that. It seems more like an additional feature that could expand their suggestion.

2. "mates resource bank" -> a material bank where you or your friends/FC members (aka mates) can deposit only materials for each of you to use in crafts. Now you might be asking "who uses the word mates in that context?" well, there *are* other countries that speak English aside from America, and use a different version of English.

Okay, kudos to you, "mates" used in the context of friends and guildmates is something I hadn't considered. Then it could also mean sharing this bank with your eternal bond partner. But it is again expanding the idea of resource bank that we right now do not have. I don't think it is likely.

3. a separate retainer that strictly holds materials but an unlimited amount of them, but is accessed normally through the bell.

This would be lovely. Yet again it is expanding the idea of the resource bank.

Imo the OP is asking for similar feature like guild wars 2 has where you get for each material its own slot in the bank.

Seeing that Savagelf has been active in other parts of the forums, I would not expect that.

But well... we pretty much got through all the likely or unlikely possibilities so our job is done here.
