    I wholeheartedly agree with this, with no incentive the cycle will just repeat, it's kind of sad that they still need us good players to go back and carry people through even after the nerfs too.

    The constant nerfing of content is only going to slowly kill the game off imo as there's just no challenge anymore.
    Nerfing content is inevitable because hardly anyone will go in there if the rewards are not continually updated. Hence, nerfs are put in place for older content (as not even gear for glamour will convince most people to go back in there). Plus, mechanic nerfing aside, you still have the option of going in there in the ilvl gear required when it launched and removing the echo buff.

    What needs to stop are the constant singular fight as the most difficult content in the game mentality the devs have delved into creating for XIV. Every patch they dig the grave deeper on this. I'm honestly wondering how deep they will dig it before it collapses on their heads.

    It is ok to have singular boss fights, time attacks, DPS checks, etc. in a game. The issue explodes when that is all they bring to the table in the game as the only challenging go-to experience.

    It's an insult to both the player and their design team, because I know they have a very talented team that can do better than this.

    People can't even clear the current content....god forbid they make any actually hard content that isn't stupid savage.

    For example Look how easy most of the primal fights are and ppl still ignore basic mechanics....steps of faith was not hard but we see how quickly that changed which I'm not totally against since it was story content but other stuff needs to be way harder...

    All final fantasy games are hard I don't get why this one is super easy lol whatev

    @Nox, while that's true, I think they should change the rewards, or add new ones, instead of nerfing the content. For example, once everyone has the primal ponies, barely anyone is going to farm the primals anymore. Unsync groups have made it way too easy to burn through content and then people complain that the game is too easy or there isn't enough end game content. That's just because they've burned through Coil in a day, and have no reason to go back in. Optional content like this should be updated with bonus or better rewards instead of making it a walk in the park.

    If they added a good reward people would have incentive to run the duty again. It doesn't need to be nerfed.
