Extreme Dungeons | Not Extreme (insert boss name here)

It's taken me quite some time to realize this, but I feel the main element lacking in XIV are actually challenging dungeons. Something above the difficulty level of World of Darkness and the new 24 man raid-that is exclusive to either 8 or 4 man set-ups.

I'm quite sick and tired of Alexander Savage, and I've just recently started on AS3 savage. (the entire Alexander savage stuff is exceedingly lame, unfortunately, and normal mode just compounds that fact).

While coil was fun and had its challenges, what kept me going there was the story (not even really the fights or the mechanics). Alexander, on the other hand, has neither interesting mechanics nor a story to make up for a lack of said interesting mechanics.

Devs, I don't know to what degree this has been thought over on your end, but please stop ONLY creating extreme encounters that are essentially a singular boss with numerous mechanics and nothing else. Give us a complete extreme dungeon, a brand new dungeon (not a rehashed extreme version of an old one).

-Also, it would be greatly appreciated if you guys came up with something other than time attacks and DPS checks to beat these difficult encounters. I would prefer harder mechanics to deal with over enrage timers and DPS checks.

    Thoughts?
