[REQUEST] Armour from Villains of previous Final Fantasy Games

I don't know. I feel like the throwback costumes lose their appeal kinda fast. Like, they're cool for a few weeks to a month before I toss it in the armoire and completely forget about it.

But yes, if there was a way to satisfy both new designs and throwback designs without sacrificing too much of the development team to one or the other, I support this.

This will never happen for one simple reason, they're villains - we're meant to be the Warrior of Light here, you know, the protagonist of the story. Have you ever seen a FF protagonist dress up as the main villain in an FF game? No? Well, there's your answer. It simply won't happen.

Fanservice is one thing, but this idea is just plain ridiculous.

I wasn't aware clothes could have allegiances, all of those evil... evil outfits.

If you want to argue the whole "too much fanservice" angle i can get behind that but lets not play the whole "villains wear that so we can't!" deal, that argument is kinda ridiculous.

Going on the logic of not allowed to wear "evil" armor most of our class gear shouldn't be wearable, Warrior and Summoner come to mind because "villains" wore the armor first. Seeing as those games do not exactly exist on this time line or so it seems, how would we know they were once worn by villains? Anyway, I would be all for Golbez's armor myself. I still say we need to just go ahead and have a time or spacial rip ourselves (left over from some sort of event with Cloud of Darkness or Shantotto) that we can enter and there ya go, another FF worlds boss. Claim it as a different time line so as to not affect or counter the original games story and your good. Seeing as I recall them saying that is what they wish to preserve thus the reasoning behind no Red XIII minions and such xD

The argument can already be debunked by looking at the Syrcus Tower armor. Each set is basically a copy of what the respective boss looks like.

I don't want this game to be full of old costumes when we can have new original ones.

You do realize that almost half of the dungeon sets are basically rip offs from tactics ogre right?





are just some examples of current in game armor with direct inspiration from Tactics Ogre. Personally I feel that re-using concepts from other games free's up more time allowing dev teams to better enhance original content. No one can create original content all the time.

Oh yes please! Pretty sure they will come in some ways, like for new veteran rewards, MGP special prizes, AF3, there's plenty of ways but they righteously don't want to burn every bullet now.

Gosh though, what would I give to have Kuja dyable, original Sephirot, Ultimecia/Artemisia *faints* CoD too just maybe bit more covered LOL
