I would kill to have Rhitahtyn's gun shields. I would probably never want to play another class ever, I would just be a walking shield tank (ie juggernaut).

The gun shields would be cool.

I'd love to see an engineer class with greathammer, much like Nero used when we fought him and like ff4 cid.

I'd also like to see samurai as a tank built around counterattacks like bravely default. Drk having 2 proc based skills is hardly a true counter tank imo.

Blue mage as a magical based tank- the class has always had more and better defensive spells than even whitemage, it's usually one of the more distinguished parts of it's peculiar kit. The class has historically been able to use flails in what few games have provided them, though I wouldn't mind scimitars or some more monsteresque melee weapon- might be a good condidate for the lantern shields others have mentioned.
