Why is it impossible to get a clear on this thing? I've cleared it 26 times spread across 4 parties.

9/10 groups I join absolutely fail.
Why? All of these people have a previous clear. None of them can actually pull it off.

I've noticed a lot of the time a big problem is people coming on jobs they didn't clear with.

Why why why are they so bad!

I have an i196 DRK that I won't dare take in there because even with my near 30 clears I won't go in without having tanked a learning party!

There's two types of fights, assuming you're not super overgearing them.
One that pushes each class to their skill limit, and everyone does the best to their ability.
One that pushes each member of the party to collude and work together, sometimes sacrificing performing better just to follow the mechanics.

Bismarck is a good example of the first with each class needing burst DPS at specific moments.
Ravana being the second, where people need to be aware of what is going on not only to themselves but everyone else.

Some people can't do the first, some people can't do the second. Many can do both, while some can't do either!

As long as carries exist, farm parties will be failures 9 times out of 10.

Exactly what Canadane said. It takes one person in Ravana to do something silly and wipe the entire party. Every person has to be in sync - or dead and carried.

Dont forget, at this point most good players are done with Ravana, and have been done for a while. So you have people who waited to gear up (not necessarily bad, just not as skilled), people who got carried (trying to hide that they may be a problem) and people who are bad making up the majority of those looking for Ravana.

Ask your FC for help. Ask friends. Keep using the PF if you want, but you should get legitimate help too

Yeah, generally running Alex on Sun or Mon isnt the best idea unless you can carry. Though you do have some really good players running then due to schedules and all. Basically, its more a mixed bag. I'd say Wed through Fri is the best time, Sat and Tues can be iffy, though not as much as Mon or Sun.

Some groups will always have trouble with certain things, especially if you're partying up with randoms.

This is a case with all primals or any other content, generally in the 8 man area. Honestly I remember back in the day of farming SEX and you'd get some really awesome groups that could get in multiple clears with ease and other groups you'd struggle to clear it even once and everyone would just disband.

There are a multitude of reasons for why some people might be "bad" at clearing these things though from being new, not having done them in a while, personal things, lag, ect ect.

Oh and sometimes people buy wins.

Could also do with different tactics colliding. If half the party does one method and other people do another it is always going to cause problems as well. It's best to get a static group if you want kills consistently. Think the worst thing that can happen is just as you start to form synergy someone bails out, followed by the rest.
