    Problem with this idea is that:

    1: something exclusive to gathering would be lost and some people do gather them to sell for profit.

    2: Would cause some people to score a map unintentionally when they might have preferd to gather one.

I enjoy the treasure hunting, but as is, it's far more profitable to sell the highest level map, than it is to actually get even a small party together to run them.....

    If you get a good set of drops that's miserably inaccurate, pending on server prices. Even the second highest can typically have drops that would outweigh the price, but not always.

    But if the maps ran on a different timer or dropped other things it would be interesting.

    I've been duoing the dragonskin maps as sch/war - it's quite fun! Upgraded law gear should be sufficient to do them, if you have a friend you can call on regularly.

    That's exactly why I said they would be different maps with different drops as to not upset the gathering maps. They would also be completely separate from gathering maps. You could get both.

    About accidentally getting a map, I mean, it's not the end of the world. It's just some added fun.
