Scholar and Summoner level together?

To have Scholar and Summoner level together do I need to unlock them both at the same level?
Or as an example if I only have level 15 Conjurer and 30 Arcanist and unlock Scholar. I then level the scholar to 40, then I level thaumaturge to 15 to unlock Summoner. Will the Summoner be boosted to the level of my Scholar?

Scholar and Summoner share the same level via their class, Arcanist. So if your Arcanist/Scholar is 40, once you unlock Summoner, it will already be 40 as well. They also share those Bonus Attribute Points you get every so often from leveling.

Scholar and Summoner are linked to your Arcanist's level, you can unlock either at any point and they will be the same level. You would only have to catch up on class quests. Example: I had a level 50 summoner and decided I wanted to try scholar, so I unlocked it and it was automatically level 50.
