Sadness is, its an 8% droprate...

Glamours options exist within areas you cannot go in as undersized.

But does it increase the drop rate? No it doesn't. So what if you can complete it faster when you still have to run it 30 times? That's the point of the token system.Yes it does. Experience, gear (even when sync'd down to the level of the content), the ability to lead players to complete content faster, OR to go in solo and brute force your way through a dungeon in mere minutes...
The unsynced feature makes it inherently easier to complete low level content. That's the whole point of it. If a player does not use this to acquire glamour equipment, mounts, or just to feel powerful, then that's their choice but there is zero point to an alternative to it when the feature is already here.

Ok, but why bring that up? Since a lot of them also can't.
Every area has a pretty much a theme to their gear. Maybe someone wants a certain theme.

Btw, this system basically already exists for some content. Both of the HW Ex Primals drop a token for every player, 10 of which can be traded for one of the primal's weapons. So, you can either be lucky and have your weapon drop, or you just do the trial 10 times and go buy it. IMO there's no real reason not to implement this (or something similar) in general. It puts a definite cap on any gear grind, you can still get lucky, I see no real downsides (except "wah wah but *I* needed to do that dungeon a million times, why should others have it easier").
Also, there was another thread about basically a Glamour Log, which would work beautifully in conjunction with this.
