Not that I believe that you are wrong, but the game isn't out yet and what you seen in trailers isn't the game. The only thing we got out out demos was the battle system. Everything else, like character design can be changed on the fly since the game is still in development. And apparently, they will delay the game for more years (apparently given the announcement in 2006, 9 years ago) since time isn't an issue for changing design.
