    I would prefer slower tactical combat personally. So my answer is no.

    Not to say I like the current combat right now either.

    SKill.... That's EVERYTHING that should matter in a battle combat. And skill is a mix of knowledge, reaction time, perceptions, dexterity and good hand-mind coordination. In FFXIV the skill feels like it's just... Perception and MEMORY... You know how to use your class, you do the same skills all the time one after another (So called, rotations) We don't have to really addapt to anything...

    I won't say names but there's a game said to be release this november in europe and america that has a really nice combat system... I have been and still always for FFXIV... But after seeing the battle action of that mmorpg... Gosh... I really wish FFXIV would be like that, so... Reactive... You can improve your skills with skill tree and give it a REAL customization of your combat, react to attacks countering, create status like grapple, knockdown, airborne... Use skills in defense of those, or that chain with those...

    Our combat system right now is... Almost not reactive, really, it's just memorize. Only job I'm seeing a bit interesting to play right now after meeting with that game is DRG 60 (Because RNG positionals, you don't always memorize-do, you have to pay attention and act. )

    And I'm sorry but here I have to point out, again, one of the WORST cons of FFXIV...

    We... LACK of... CUSTOMIZATION...


    I have thousand times expressed my worry about the fact that our skills are too rigid, too... Meh. The dev team is so worried about the balance and stuff that they can't foresee a lot of skill trees and thus, they don't even dare to try with giving us players a way to customizate our battle form...

    I'd really like to have the option to choose the way we fight, to change our skills, not only to reduce a cooldown like in PvP, but, more. To choose to make a skill of area but lowering damage, to choose to reduce its cost... To chose to add an additional effect to it.. Transform an area skill into a one target but more powerful, those things... We totally lack customization, we lack it since the very moment we create our character.

    PS: Stills FFXIV has a place on my heart and I still play it, especially because in PvP I can let out all my rage and kill a lot I people, no, errh... I mean, especially because I enjoy neverreap spam! It's not like I totally love to kill people at all.

    My FC mates and I were running Unsynced Keepers to help one of us with desynth drops, honestly Unsynced feels more like Diablo 3 to me since no one needs to really tank and a quick medica say every 30 secs really takes care of that. At one point we had 3 packs and even the healer was DPS/tanking/healing thorugh 2 mobs on them.

    I've seen videos of some action MMO games, and they all look like they are doing nothing but spam click a single button...
    Really not much interested to see my character spinning with a giant axe like a top to deal with mobs over and over and over again...

    it is not about the revealing, a swimsuit is more revealing than many armor, but that's find, becoz it is a swimsuit. it is the "why" that matter
    it good that FFXIV are still a "clear water" when (Korean and Japanese) made MMORPG shifting to the "E" theme


    and yes, i couldnt imagine how horrible the action system will be, when we have already almost 4 bars full of skills, and a standard rotation and positioning
    all the action base RPG i have play, have a way simpler skill system, yet it still spamming mouse click 1 alot
    which i found boring
    i never play WiXdstar, but i dont found TeXa system that fun at all
