Who cares what the summoner was in other FF titles? In THIS game it's the summoner.
Having my old carbuncles would already be better than that floating bearded rock and the yellow birdy, but I wouldn't mind Shiva/Ravana - just not as "egi".

Not expecting much with the Egi glamour, if/when it comes. They're most likely going to have the same aesthetics as the current ones, and then the same level of complaints will happen again.
In my view, they should've had SMN retain the carbuncles in contrast to SCH fairies, and have the Egis represented as a variety of offensive or defensive spells/effects (no, not as long cutscenes) depending on Egi used.

yes like folklore game if anyone played, egis like spell effects, not long cutscenes, no one wants that
I wonder if we'll get some glamours for our fairies too. (A healing carbuncle would be amazing)
Funny story about Folklore. I played it once years ago and couldn't find it, or any mention of it, ever since. I had convinced myself that it was never actually real until recently when i saw it in the discount games bin at Walmart.
I've been saying this forever, i loved Yuna in Dissidia
SCH B> Carby Imbued with fairy magicks D:
I do agree I would like to see it more suited to the job title. As someone mentioned in another post, I wouldn't argue if they were more akin to how Yuna plays in Dissidia012. To me, the Egi/Primal/Summon needs to be the main point of the job, not my dots.

I like that spell effect much better than the actual egis.
They could have used normal Voidsents for pets.
