More like 2-3....;.; Freaked me out being a tank from FF11 first time I saw it while leveling up.
My Question Is Why Is WAR's Stun NOT An AoE?Spinning Shield?
You know, the AoE Stun ability that the Moogle Paladin has in Thornmarch? The one that would give us awesome utility and generally be Really Cool (TM)?
Just a passing thought. Would be an excellent addition to the PLD kit, and we have precedent for it (that, and Spirits Without, but that's a different can of worms).
Cause if any tank got that skill it would be WAR not silly PLD.
maybe not have it stun cause class balance issue. However having a skill like this generate enmity as an AoE may be a plus.
I'd punch a baby square in the face for an AOE stun as a tank. Shelton -> Mogshield? RIP all other tanks.
Also, balance aside, this doesn't solve PLD's Savage woes.

Ongoing mission: Tank everything on DRG. On purpose.
i think you mean steel cyclone shield bash
Personally would rather have Shield Swipe be given a AOE affect rather than having shield bash (or in this case "spinning shield") get a AOE setup. Haha I think an GCD aoe stun especially with the long effect/repeatabilty of pali would be a bit to much of a boon, where as shield swipe with it being dependent on the blocking trait unique to paladins would be a better fit balance wise. Haha will say the skill would need to tweaked quite the bit, but a guy can dream haha.
Fully agree, would trade longer cool down for off GCD anyday.Paladin stun may have the longest duration, but in my opinion it is the least reliable to pull off since its on GCD. You either have to be lucky with the timing, or sitting on your cool downs doing nothing in preparation to using it. I would prefer them to take it off the GCD even if it means lowering the duration.
WAR and DRK stuns on the other-hand are oGCD...
if only skill speed can reduce PLD gcd to 2 secs or less...
