The cast is single target, the effect is aoe with the center point following the mob you casted on. Not that hard of a concept.

I'm not high enough to see in-game text, I went by what they posted as notes which is, quote, "Now affects a single target." Using "affects" instead of "targets" makes it mean that it is not AoE which makes me think either it is a mistranslation that should be fixed or it isn't functioning as intended. Maybe we could get a Dev Response here to clear it up?

Edit: A funny thing with the gear is that the hooded attire boosts healing abilities and the attire+hat combos pale in healing ability and have very nice dd potential. Funny that as in game the conjurers wear the attire+hat and the thaumaturges wear the hooded attire while like in the OP the conjurers were given AoE heals. SE is all confused I think when it comes to these two classes.
