Floor 151+ is fairly straightforward. The biggest thing to remember about all those floors is you need to be running on the max edge of the rooms, always (unless you've activated a sight or safety). Additionally I save all my rage and witching pomanders for 181-189 (for the chimera patrol chains and worms), and all my Serenity for 191+ (because the floors there love to stack effects).

Oh, I know about all of that. I was just thinking about making one for others, since a lot of groups I've joined to try and do Floor 200 clears don't have much knowledge of the floors past 101, and the information about bosses and mobs to watch out for on 151+ seems to be limited. There's a couple people who have noted to watch out for things like Chimeras on floors 181-190 and such, but a lot of the mobs I've found have the potential to one-shot you (or just hurt A LOT) were just from my own encounters with them. I just thought it would be useful to have something out there saying "Hey, on this set of floors, watch out for X Monster, because they do X Attack that has the potential to end your run if you don't handle them correctly."

Knowledge is power, and I think just being armed with the knowledge of what to look out for on certain floors is a handy thing to have. Because it allows you to be more cautious and aware, which can allow for a greater chance of success. :3

If you really consider that fight, it is one of the easiest boss encounters in the game. Knowing the fight makes it super easy, and not knowing it makes it wildly difficult.

The thing is, though, is that in each group I was in, those who were NOT new to it were the ones dying first. Ironically enough. While I was going through just leveling MCH, I ended up soloing her fight twice. I died the first time because she kinda hurts, and my max-potions were on cooldown, but I managed to beat her the second time. Hopefully this doesn't come off as elitist sounding, but is it really that hard to dodge the bright orange circles?

It didn't really help for one group, the PLD and GLA I was with were arguing over who should tank her: PLD with sub-30 aetherpool or GLA with 70+ aetherpool. That was probably why both of them died, since they were too busy arguing about who would be MT rather than paying attention to her. It's just, I never had so much trouble even when the content was new, and when 3/4 party members were new. Maybe people weren't paying attention to my chat explanations. Idk.

My brother called out someone in Dun Scaith who kept dying in our party. It would've been okay that said person was dying to mechanics, but they literally weren't moving out of anything and were too busy typing in alliance chat. Midway into the second fight I had wasted almost half my mp trying to raise this guy and keep everyone else alive. Of course, everyone jumped on my brother, saying the guy was probably new, and kicked my brother. BUT HE WASN'T. I don't know why people are so quick to defend people who don't follow mechanics and simply just say they are new.

On the other hand, me and a few friends tried to unsync pharos sirius without any gear on. It didn't end well.

No, it isn't, especially when they are as predictable and reliable as Edda's. Run away, the instant the big circle goes away, run right back at her, wait for Cold Feet and look away, lather, rinse, repeat. Nothing hard about that fight except paying attention maybe, which is in frightfully low supply in PotD groups.

Took a shuttle to space, watch people go right, and they died, killing the whole group, gotta save space man, time to go in. What's this? Can't fly or climb, I should just float, hope I don't die. Meteors coming my way, weavin' gotta go LEFT. Aint a criminal, Right don't pay. Seen'd a crazy look on Eggman's face. Weeping city. Ozma. I'll let you figure it out.

Eesh came out of a rather meh Sohm Al HM. One of the dps was pretty lackluster, to the point the arena of the final boss was almost fully covered in lava when it had 30% left.

I tried to speed up the dps by helping, as an AST, but went overboard and mistakingly let the tank die like an idiot but, shit happens so that's on me (hasn't happened to me in a long ass time). We ended up wiping also because the bad dps somehow missed the LB2 even though we were all right next to the boss. We wiped once, had to redo the boss with the same result in term of dps where it took forever, except this time we didn't die.

Thankfully, my wife was the other dps so she had to overcompensate for the other person.

About the LB2 thing..I've actually watched LB's hit the boss head on and do nothing before (not sohm al specifically) but second boss in vault it happened before...lol

Another wipe in PotD... on Floor 190, this time....
Too much rushing... too many people making mistakes...

I. JUST. WANT. THIS. FREAKING. CLEAR.

First 175. Then 197. Then 195. Then 190.
Losing any hope I'll ever get to sit on that Floor 200 bench.
Or get my pretty PotD earring.

And it wouldn't be so terrible if I didn't have to start COMPLETELY OVER on FLOOR 51.
LET US START FROM 101. There is literally no need to do 51-100 again. Because 101-150 gives you plenty of pomanders, even if you start off with none. The mobs on 101 - 110 are not threatening enough to warrant using too many pomanders. Very few have one-shot mechanics.
