Quick horror story
SMN kiting adds in AV. From Coincounter's area up to the morbols. Everyone dies. I'm spamming chat with "please stand still so tank can take them off you when they're back!". Eventually me tank and mnk are stood in coincouter's area while the smn just ran in circles around us. I used auto translate to ask if they speak english. Smn "get this f*ckin aggro off me"

And a query, how often should Tri-bind be used as a smn?? it was a weekend of bad smn apparently! Going through keeper for 2nd anima, had a smn who used tri-bind 3/4 times in a row, then cast almost nothing but blizzard 2 and some ruin/ruin 2s... Was baffled, i'm in no way an expert but i've levelled smn to 60 now and found tri-bind next to useless? I could be wrong but surely it's better to keep your dots up and use fester & ruin etc?

Short story, on my phone so I don't want to type a novel. Was in Dun trying to get some bling for my off classes. We get to the queen (can't spell her name off the top of my head) all is going "well" (as well as Sunday evening pre expansion df goes) and she starts her ultimate after the whole add phase. Put my asylum down, everyone at full hp, no vuln, all is well, I start casting medica II then die along with 4 other people in my party? Bwuhhhhh?? This wasn't a case of we took too long, no one else in the alliance died, I don't even, I'm an i260 whm with 20k hp wot xD

Story 2 (because my lunch is still too hot to eat)
In a ravana tweety farm and we were going in a downward spiral, people were dying to basic dodge the bad, hitting his parry shields, eating all the aoes so he started doing mechanics like the rose orbs and charges that the typical farm group doesn't see. I cleared ravana way back when so I know what to do but as I line myself up for orbs someone shouts in chat "OH GOD MECHANICS IVE NEVER SEEN!", my internal crying intensifies and we wipe about 5 seconds after.

Group wipes.
Someone asks SMN why they didn't res, to which they replied, *Ahem*:

"I didn't have swiftcast"

Have any of you noticed a decline of player skill in df this month? Went from 10-15 min lvl 60/ex roulettes to 30+ with wiped fest in dunscaith and weeping city (no bonus in my alliance and we still wipe with me a BRD always last standing)?

No. Can't say that I've experienced this. Always use duty finder too. No pre-mades.

Had a fun run in weeping city last night. (Was quite late so thought meh i'd give it ago) Anyway, we had a few new players and returners in the group. We had a new tank in our group and he was asking questions (Which is great.) Anyway, we cleared right up to Ozma and then we began wiping. We wiped a grand total of four times, did people get angry? Nope. Did people leave? Yep some did. But after that we got replacements then we killed Ozma.

Now we reach the final boss. The two tanks from the other groups were fighting for aggro and tanking the boss in the corner. (Which was horrifying) The new tank then took over and continued tanking her there. I asked the tank to please take the boss to the middle, and they did. The boss was tanked in the middle and we did it, no problems. It was the most fun run i ever had! Nobody whined, nobody got mad. (Some were scared at the corner tanking on the final boss though!) At least we got some new players through the raid

Tri-bind is only useful really in PvP. In regular duties, such as dungeons, it's a huge waste for a SMN to even have the skill on their hotbar. You're right that they should be focusing on DoT upkeep, and using their skills such as Fester and Ruin. Blizzard II can be useful for large groups for cheap AOEing. But any SMN that uses Tri-bind in something other than PvP is just wasting hotbar space.

i noticed getting a loooooooot of people with really low gear around il 200 or 230 at max, maybe even some pieces below lvl 60. naturally,their damage output was beyond abysmal as well. sometimes i just eat penalty because I cba to do a 30 min run that should last 15 at best (say whatever you will,but it isnt fun to do that...)

I queued in DF and got Antitower. Noticed the tank DRK as 18k hp.
Decided to check he's gear. He got Kinna Weapon and a shire body, the rest... Dungeon drops below 60 heck below 58. But he met the requirement to queued... I've bailed when I saw that dropping WM and using Quelling Strike still took aggro off him.

Oh noes. Someone queues for a dungeon they barely qualify for. Guess they're going to need to overgear first before they can raise their ilevels through dungeons and raids.
