Had some fun moments today. Level 60 roulette, after a missed queue (sorry folks) was Neverreap. Eww. But everyone was really good and it was smooth, except for the part where the poor bard used repelling shot on the wrong side of a wind sprite on the last boss. I know how it feels, bro. /comfort

Then mentor roulette put me in A5 as bard with a dark knight, a warrior, 2 scholars and 3 summoners. I felt as if so many eyes were piercing my soul, waiting to see if I was a Foe's Bard or a mute. Probably the best comment though was "if tank loses Eye for an Eye then we suck".

Haha, I remember that comment. I was one of the smns in your party. But it never crossed my mind if you would play foe or not... I don't expect it anymore cause too many bards have let me down in the past. XD But good bards don't need to be asked to play it (if there are casters in the group anyway).

That reminds me of the run I had the other day with three bards and a single BLM. The general consensus was that if Foe's ever dropped they weren't worth their salt as bards, and discussion was had about who should play first. IIRC they managed to stagger it quite well.

Had a VA run, 3 bards in various parties... not a single song. Asked ours for foes and was ignored. I don't get why people purposely handicap their party and don't play their class to the fullest...

I can answer that from my own personal errors with this. Tunnelvision. Thankfully, a simple <se.#> (where # is a number between 1 and either 15 or 16), in /p or /a will grab my attention to the chat, and I can react accordingly.

Had an interesting PotD run earlier today, the AST decided to keep calling everyone a... um.... well it rhymes with hunt. Somehow he managed to get himself killed in the first room we cleared, no idea how but obviously it was everyone else's fault, that's when the insults started. This lasted right until we cleared and his last words were a call for us to all go forth and multiply.

The best bit? he was a mentor, obviously.

Somehow he managed to get himself killed in the first room we cleared, no idea how but obviously it was everyone else's fault, that's when the insults started. This lasted right until we cleared and his last words were a call for us to all go forth and multiply.

The best bit? he was a mentor, obviously.

I don't usually kick people either....but verbal abuse? Why didn't you guys just vote kick his bum out instead of letting him treat everyone like that and get clears?

I've lost all patience for getting my Ramuh EX clear. I've run this fight so many times now I could probably navigate it by sound cues, but I can't get a group that can do it.

I explain tank swap mechanic
I die to Shock Strike
"Where's the swap?"
"What orbs?" He's standing right next to an orb

Round two: Fight
He leads so he can watch me grab the orbs, I go for the swap... and DPS start eating my orbs, so I can't stack 3.
He dies to Shock Strike.
I pick up the boss, he gets rezzed, we lose people to Chaos because they refuse to stack on the GIANT GLOWING A THAT I EXPLAINED.

I left after the second wipe. Just freaking kill me. I'm about to write off EX Primals as not worth dealing with the potatoes DF decides I should have to group with.

Oh, that BLM was either me or the exact same situation + conversation happened in 2 seperate parties xD

It is not as satisfying, but if you just want the clear, join one of the plenty of pf groups on tuesday that do it for Khloe's book
