Leveling roulette as DRK drops me into Dzemael Darkhold with a SCH, DRG, and BRD, the first two of which are not synced.
With a lack of steady, sustainable AoE DPS, I made the judgement call at the start of the run to stick to relatively small pulls. Nobody said anything in reply at all, but I just got the feeling that they were unhappy about it, because that's pretty much the default state of people in DF whenever I tank.
Anyway, I'm used to having people spit on me for daring to do smaller pulls. I also spent the entire run in a white-noise-induced meditative trance, so while I held aggro and did mechanics fine, I wasn't really positioning enemies as best as I should've.
All this was why it came as a genuine shock to get 3 comms when it was over, to the point where I just stared at my screen blankly.
The way you just responded made me change my first statement. Yes I would have kicked you too, and I will if I ever have you in my duty with this attitude. I can now totally understand why you got kicked and fully agree with the healer.
Thank you for this information and for correcting me. I haven't done serious testing in different parties so this information is new to me. Thanks!
Was in WoD, hoping to get another glamour piece for my bard
BAM SERVER CRASH
I'm... truly devastated?
If you believe being lazy falls under "different playstyles" I'd want you to kick me, to be perfectly honest.
You're calling others lazy when there was no need for a raise given the added weakness, which as a tank you should aim to avoid anyways, but you chose to lay there, be lazy yourself and throw a fit? Tell me again how you are the good guy here and how unfair your kick was.
Edit, btw I never said anything about playstyles, I don't know why you are referring to me.

Eh, weakness is pretty terrible, and running from boss to next boss in Gubal doesn't take 2 minutes. It's barely any time at all, especially if you pop sprint.Amazing.
Next time someone rips aggro I'll just stand there and let it chew their face off.
"Sorry, difference in playstyles."
Really amazes me how often this game blames players for refusing to accept bad/ lazy behaviour. Terrible healers get away with everything, and I'm through letting it slide tbh. How dare I suggest using the 10k mana you have in reserve to actually, you know... do something.
I am not sure how you even died in the first place. Did expert yesterday with a healer with a 170 weapon, a tank who couldn't do positioning for the life of him (at least he did big pulls though), and a co-DPS who did barely any damage, and even then, no one came close to dying. How exactly did you manage it?
Lazy behaviour? Not wanting to run back from a boss to catch up and avoid weakness.
Not lazy behaviour? A scholar who realizes that raising you is the idiotic thing to do.
You quoted me, so I assumed you took issue with it.
It's far quicker for a raise. The mobs were dead. The group were right next to me. We had two more mobs left and weakness would have made no difference to anyone who isn't a dreadful healer. As a healer main myself, it makes far more sense to raise and move on instead of standing around waiting for a respawn and running back there. Even if I were of the mindset to think otherwise, if the tank requested it, I would still raise him. Evidently, few other people would. I'm not sure where you took I "threw a fit", either. I asked for a raise and explained why, it didn't go much beyond that.
Weakness is hardly a handicap in a leveling dungeon on trash, and it would have nearly ended by the time I ran there anyway.
Why did I die? While I'm sure you'd love to blame me, unfortunately you'll have to take that up with the Physik-loving SCH who apparently had no other ability on their tool bar.
Tell me, how is raising in anyway idiotic? How do fights go on? How do people clear Sophia with tanks repeatedly dying to tankbusters, if it's such a dreadful handicap? Ah, right. Healers who actually know what they're doing.
It's not quicker, it literally takes 20 seconds to run back - and the DPS loss on the boss would be a bigger detriment. I mean, I guess I am assuming you know how to DPS as a tank. You quoted me, so I assumed you took issue with it.

I believe the handicap is the same in all content. Out of curiosity, why do you run so slowly? As a SMN, I know that a pull = 1 minute. That means, tank running to mobs, gathering mobs, me killing mobs. I Know it takes 1 minute, because aetherflow is precisely off cooldown in 90% of the runs that I do per pull. There are 2 pulls between each boss. That means, it takes 2 minutes to get from 1 boss to the next when you include combat time. Take away combat time, add in sprint, it takes you 20 seconds.Weakness is hardly a handicap in a leveling dungeon on trash, and it would have nearly ended by the time I ran there anyway.
All I know is that as a SCH secondary, I don't cast heals in the expert roulette. My fairie has the perfect ability to solo heal large pulls with no problem. On rare occasions, I cast 1 or 2 heals per pull. Why did I die? While I'm sure you'd love to blame me, unfortunately you'll have to take that up with the Physik-loving SCH who apparently had no other ability on their tool bar.
Raising you provides you with weakness, thus slowing down the run for no reason.Tell me, how is raising in anyway idiotic? How do fights go on? People CAN clear something with weakness, it doesn't mean that it's good. I can clear expert roulette without casting DoTs on my Summoner, but it's probably the idiotic way to do it.
