Odin isn't even that hard synced since you're still way overgeared (or should be). I still had to be batphoned into an FC mates mentor roulette when they were struggling with DPS issues.
I just felt the need to share how hype I felt at my last successful run against Sophia EX.
It was a smooth run overall, only a couple of deaths that were quickly recovered from. But when it came to the Meteor Stack -> Flee -> Balance Pairs bit, the last part got a tad messy, leading to a bunch of bleeds, and shortly after she cast execute both Healers were dead. So it became a mad rush to finish her off at somewhere around 5-10% HP. Just the sense of urgency at having no healers for that last mad dash to the finish was a lot of fun.
So, if I want to beat it synced, my hope is...what? Just keep trying until I get teammates who aren't all Hufflepuffs who don't speak English? Sounds kinda soul-crushing.No...well, yes, but here's the thing.
Urth's Fount is FAR from "High level content" at this point. The only reason anyone does it any more is Wondrous Tails checks, and they'll just form parties, run it unsynced, and clear in a minute flat. No one who knows how to do it does it in DF any more.
If you want to beat it synced, form up a party in PF and ask people to join you. You're on a relatively populated server so you should get enough decently geared people who know their jobs and the fight. just make sure to emphasize it's SYNCED.

A mentor stole my house, slapped me across the face, and raised my ping from 15 to 30. Literally unplayable.

Short One :
Trial Roullette,Before the fight started DPS1 asked Tank1
DPS1 : Tank1,Malboro ?
Tank1 : Srry,I'd prefer Lucky Strike
Others : LOL

I tried once. Got tanks who would NOT use cooldowns and would almost die every single tank buster and then stand in every single aoe. I know how to do Odin in DF and would be happy to except after that I never want to again. It's not hard but DF certainly makes it so.No...well, yes, but here's the thing.

People just don't know how to dodge AoEs... Heck, when I did it synced once our 2 SCHs were so horrible (typical SCH, relying on the fairy) the other tank and I would have to do an actual tank swap due to cooldowns...
It was Wednesday evening, wife and I were doing our usual roulette runs and got Vault for leveling. We get a pretty good DRK tank and a DRG. I don't really mind because the Vault is actually one of the dungeons that I really enjoy. The tank has to afk after the first boss, said his kitchen sink collapsed upon his return. I don't think anyone really considered kicking him since he was doing a good job, and nobody was going to begrudge him a few minutes. We get to Grinnaux, I get to make a hammy He-Man shout to his reference line, and we take him down, though the dragoon dies to floor AoE placement. The DRG is the unsynched one (not his first 60, though), so I tried to get him up before the boss died so he didn't miss out on the Exp. Next trash pack is the big mechanical knight things with the unannounced point blank AoE, and the poor dragoon bites it again due to his weakness debuff, didn't even know what hit him until we explained it. No further problems until we get to Charibert. Dragoon and my wife both drop, I rez her, and she rezes him (yay, swiftres on summoner!), then we mop up for the win. No wipes, but the dragoon declared this to have been his worst Vault run, which kinda made me feel bad for getting both his and the DRK's comms. I didn't think we'd done too badly.

Ran a 50 roulette for WT on my SMN (and XP), got Pharous. PLD was taking the pulls too slow for our WHM apparently, who threw a fit. On the 2nd pull he ran to grab a random mob and... somehow died? I think we was too busy DPSing or something. He bailed immediately, so the 3 of us do the next few pulls and attempt the boss. We died but got really close. Our BRD left as none of us thought we'd get another healer (she mentioned when the timer hit 80mins she'd bail so can't fault her). I mentioned to the tank we should abandon and right as I hit "enter", we got a SCH. Rest of the run went pretty smooth, and the SCH never gave our tank flak for taking the pulls really slow.
