I just did the 10 guildhests for a chance at new squadron recruits, and it's not a major thing, but it bugged the hell out of me so I need to share it xD

There was a healer who greeted everyone normally, cast Protect on everyone...and that was it.
Since there was absolutely no incoming DMG (pretty standard in guildhests), she didn't have to heal, so she didn't even bother moving from the entrance.
She literally just stood there watching us do all the work, for minutes.
Made me pretty mad so I said "You have attack spells too, you know?" (yes could have been worded nicer, I know )
...to which her reaction was to change her idle stance to the one with arms lazily crossed behind the head, and after a while even sat down just to demonstrate she wasn't planning on doing anything.

And people wonder why I get so aggressive here in the forums with lazy healers..=_=;

Make that a spring. Not going to edit my original post because eh. Nothing like staying up until 4 AM trying to get 1 item to drain all willpower from you.

Speaking of the shaft, oh yeah. Yeah, RNGesus decided to be a dick in A12 as well. It also taught me just how unfair and backwards the Temporal Stasis stack mechanic is, punishing people who do stack, while those that don't stack get away scot-free.

By the way, what is it about having current-patch endgame gear that seems to make people think they can forgo doing their jobs entirely? I get tanks who seem to think they can tank in DPS stance, and healers who refuse to heal and DPS until the MT is dead, then blame the OT for not taking aggro fast enough (and then these same healers get 2 drops out of 5 possible ones, thanks RNGesus).

Nothing quite like the two tanks I had in A10, both who decided to be in Deliverance. To be fair, the add tank I expected that from. The main tank? Who hit the electrified sides? Who got every vulnerability he could? Who stood in all the AOE?

lol, /comfort. I don't know how people can do that, ive often defended players that can't keep up, because i think sometimes people get their expectations a little high when they run into a really experienced healer, but this... this is not that lol. I don't get it, i would be so bored doing those early guildhests if i wasn't at least tossing a dot or 5 or ... on everything cuz thats how little i need the heal buttons lol

Today was a day of Ex primals. Ran Sophia a lot, and the bird finally dropped! Except I was the second highest roll--with an 18. I literally lost it too because the jerk MT got it instead (and he was a complete jerk the entire run).

Tried clearing SephEx. I kept getting knocked off when he's punching the ground, so I was feeling carried. The rest got him down to 2%. And then one of the DPS decided not to help attack the Wind, and instead insisted on burning him. Well, needless to say, we wiped. At 2%. Furthest I got tonight. Hopefully tomorrow I can get the clear. Then I just need to clear Nidhogg Ex (yeah, I've been super lazy with these primals).

I honestly would have stopped everything, sat down, and actually let a wipe happen at that point. Or, if I was the tank, I would have dragged everything over to her, sat down on her, and did nothing. That's just infuriating. I'm getting mad just reading your post. XD

Sophia ex cleared party in RF.

I was tanking as PLD, as always, my Co tank was a WAR. He/she died a few times, and even apologize for that, but I was fine, solo tanking when he/she was dead, trying to survive.

And then, the first colors mechanic happened, the war was being res and I just saw our DRG go skydiving on purpose.

Even with bleed all over and the vulnerability stacks, we managed to get to the second colors mechanic followed by the mimic statues mechanic, we were about to stack for this, but someone died, and, again, the DRG just jumped off the area on purpose.

We wiped, of course, and I question him why he was doing this, at 4 f*cking am.

Like, what? Everyone can make mistakes, like our war, and I could handle solo tanking pretty good, but whatever, he proceeded to insult ppl and we just vote kick him. We lost a good 20 minutes on this. Our war even apologize again after that.

I've been trying to clear Sophia Ex for 3 weeks now.
Tried both PF and RF,still,a lot of people clearly not ready to "clear" it.
I even begged for Farm party to give me a chance but you know what ?
Its barely different from any "clear party".
Starting to lose hope here...

I have a WTF story to share! So, I rolled into ACF on 60s roulette, didn't take long for me to notice tank is tanking in deliverance stance all the way. Not once did he switch to defiance, even when I caught aggro from all of the mobs. I died, and asked tank why he wasn't using his tank stance or even trying to overpower to grab aggro from me. Snarky healer pipes in and says that if I grab aggro, I tank it. Okaaaaay. For one, I didn't pull, and I sure as hell didn't run in front of the tank. It's tank's job to hold hate, not mine, and both healer and tank were adamant that it was my fault for grabbing aggro, so I deserved to die.

But wait, there's more!


As I'm respawning, tank spams the chat with " monk turn fire fist off" repeatedly. But why?! Oh I see, because it causes the tank to lose aggro with my additional dps! And right as I'm explaining that fire fists = more dps = faster we can finish dungeon, healer snarkily remarks "oh, one of those elitists mentors, learn how to be a team player!" and they both leave, leaving me and the other dd very very bewildered by what just happened. Sorry man, with a full arsenal of level 60s, I expect him to at least be able to know the basics of tanking and hate holding, instead of blaming DDs for taking aggro............. or am I expecting too much?

I am in the same boat as you. I know the mechanics backwards and forwards. I mean, I know it so well it feels like a nice dance now.

But I simply cannot get into a group where people are the same way. And to make matters worse, people vote abandoned after the second wipe.

So, I bought my ilvl 250 lance and called it the day. Ill grind out my relic when patch 3.45 drops.

Ran Weeping City for the first time in weeks, as I wasn't needing the stuff from it, but decided to do it again just to finish off my WT. And I regret doing it because of how much of a mess it ended up being due to our SCH who probably wasn't really paying attention the entire time.

Arachne Eve fight was the cleanest of the encounters, and usually if first boss goes well, that means the rest of it will too, right? Wrong, because Forgall set it up this time.

I will admit my first death was my fault. I messed up on positioning myself and paid for it. The deaths following, including our AST? Gonna definitely say it was our SCH who probably wasn't paying attention the whole time. At one point, we got LB3, which they used to get those of us who were dead up...only to raise most of us into double zombie puddles and the friend I queued up with straight into Mega Death.

Wall boss thing went okay. No one died, there were no issues. And then Ozma. Where it showed the SCH wasn't paying attention, as during a double meteor phase, they waited until the last possible second to sprint off to drop it to the side. Which caused most of us to die yet again.

Calo fight? Well, as I told friend "how to tell one or both of your healers are horrible: you get heals/raises from other alliances' healers instead."

It was a straight up mess. I'd understand if someone was new, but there was no newbie bonus message or anything.
