Ah ok, thanks. I thought it worked kind of like cure/physiks (or I could just stop being lazy and look up the tooltips). Still don't get why people would use physiks on whm instead of cure or the other way around but meh, at least those spells have the same healing potency, but whatever floats their boat I guess.

Ruin has a potency of 80, vs. Stone/Malefic's 150. I'm assuming it's due to the fact that Arcanist has a pet doing some of the damage and DoTs to maintain, and so Ruin is just a low MP-cost filler that does a little bit of damage. I *suppose* it could be helpful for managing MP on account of it's very low cost, but I really don't know.Ah ok, thanks. As to cross-classing physick or cure, it's possibly just to animation preference; though cure should always be used on WHM past level 32, because physick doesn't proc freecure.
I totally agree with you. But at least there is "some" excuse if someone really dislikes the animation/sound, granted they won't benefit of any procs, at least the healing won't suffer as much as dps in the case of ruin/stone hehe.
I decided to take the wife and I through the Sunken Temple of Qarn. We need the last two entries in our Adder hunting log from there.
The party lineup was:
WAR (me)
MNK (wife)
SCH
BRD/Archer (I didn't check)
The dungeon was going pretty smooth. No wipes, the SCH was constantly DPSing between heals, and the DPS were killing things quickly. I did notice that the bow user was a very eager to say the least for us to kill things. I would Tomohawk a mob and before I could gather them up and Overpower them, the bow user spammed AOEs, making my job a little harder to keep hate at first.
After the fight with the Temple Guardian, the bow user seemed to have disconnected. After killing a set of mobs, I told my wife that we can three man this, since our levels and iLevels are synced (at the time our levels and iLevels were 52 WAR 100 iLevel and 51 MNK 90 iLevel unsynced). I dropped Deliverance and we proceeded to three man this all the through.
The final boss fight was entertaining. I helped my wife do the mechanics of the fights since the SCH was on top of his/her A-Game (dodging AOEs, DPSing, and healing). I felt safe enough that I could move the boss around and do the mechanics without the fear of a wipe.

Random person in my POTD group. Just...gross.
Watching forum drama be like
Yeah that is actually disgusting. There's a thread somewhere here about macros and ppl being offended by them, if it was possible. Well yes, regardless if it's an automated macro or not, this stuff is offensive and disgusting. Had in WC a goon who macroed something similar gross, but this time sexual with his Battle Litany. About 7-8 lines singing a song about body fluids mixing together and making gravy, just to keep it short here. The whole "song" was filthy, not funny or even close, and it popped every bloody time he activated Battle Litany. I have yet to report it, I copied the whole "song" for later, and that was last tuesday I believe.
PoTD Gilgamesh
The Tank taught his DPS friend how to use an emote that will spam all the users in the party with constant dings and rings. Not only did it fill a page of rotating text forever, the annoying sounds lasted about 30 seconds.
Then he kept on doing it
And doing it
And doing it
It literally felt like I was in a party of 4 year olds
Turn 9...
We never last more than 3 minutes.
Motherf*cking meteors.
Three Ilm Knights, One Thousand Malm Road
Experienced a funny glitch in LCoA a while back. I was healing on WHM when I noticed that though I could heal the SMN, I couldn't see them anywhere. I went to the gates and right back up the ramp but still couldn't find them, yet according to the map, they were nearby. What...?
I zoomed out the camera and looked around.

"Wait... is that...?"

"?!"
Somehow they'd managed to get stuck while trying to jump down, and couldn't move at all. The only option they had was Return... which was on CD because they'd used it just before the instance. And so the next five minutes passed pretty much like this.
