You would be surprised, Sometimes i think people stole an account or is playing someone elses, the amount of tanks i see tanking 1 mob while the rest are chasing the healer is staggering. I even had the pleasure of watching a ninja and dragoon fight mobs without ever using a single debuff. the enemies just went from full to 0, slowly with nothing ever being on them.

Well, as a tank, I will say this. When we do big pulls, it's very hard to see :P I normally keep all the mobs on me, but it's not hard to lose track of one. Especially if the healer is spamming heals (which they should be on big pulls honestly). Then to top it off, if DPS are killing slowly, as a PLD, I can run out of MP before they kill the majority of the mob. PLD's really need more AoE T_T

I had my first story worthy experience two nights ago, I was at Braylox and after an initial hello the tank went running like crazy without waiting for anyone pulling 3 mobs towards him. After catching up to him our healer died and we ending up wiping. I make the statement "Let's try that again shall we?" only to see that the tank left.

Quickly afterwards the DPS and the healer left as well. I stand there alone for a couple of minutes processing and a new DPS and tank arrive, but no healer. I turned to my FC for help after we started tiptoeing through the dungeon, got us a healer and we cleared the dungeon with no real problems.

I don't know if the tank was a troll, if he was simply embarrassed or what but I have never had anything like that happen to me before.

Did Ravana last night for the MSQ.

Everyone involved (except me because I had no frame of reference) was amazed at the calamity of it all. Pretty much everyone died at least once and we never wiped. If I could have gave commendations to all involved I would have. While it was brutal, resolve carried the day and Ravana fell on the first run. I felt entertained in that dungeon.

Void Ark, wipe to Cuchulainn because not everyone was paying attention to mechanics and someone vote abandon. And rage quit right after he/she voted.

My first time on tank in DF, a lancer in INT gear who pulled half the rooms at the start.

I feel for my party members though. I have no sense of direction and still run backwards out of some rooms in leveling dungeons. I will only lead them astray.

I got kicked from Pharos Sirius Hard for not knowing the fight on the last boss. No one explained anything to me. The dungeon was just released today, so not everyone is going to know the fight. But tomorrow I'll be doing this dungeon with my friends who haven't even tried it yet.

Fiest run on Void Ark. Took FOUR WIPES at Echidna for the Tanks to understand that the snakes needed to be tanked separately, even with ALL people nearly screaming at Alliance chat. we cleared though, with no ragequit.

I mean, why? I left Void Ark today with ALL my equips at 1%-2% from how many times we wiped. isn't this what learning means? You fail and try again. It's not like there's anything on farm already, at least not until a month from now, where we will be able to say that the majority of players played it already. This type of people need to grow up.

Well, the four wipes I'm not going to touch with a ten-fulm-pole (srsly, the line between them didn't tell the tanks anything?), but the alliance chat... I turned mine off when I ran it the first time. Partly to avoid mechanics spoilers (and our run still only had three wipes in total, on three separate bosses/fights) and partly because there was this one guy wanting to "discuss" the patch content, despite people commenting they hadn't done much at all of it.

So anyway, if I (and many others in my party) did that, it's possible others have as well, and the whole "screaming in alliance chat" doesn't really matter if the people in question have it turned off. ^^;
