Once you get to level 60, you can get much better equipment very easily from doing roulettes.
With that equipment, going solo through almost any dungeon pre-Heavensward is very easy.
Therefore, I recommend getting to 60 and getting esoteric gear. Then try running it again. It should be very easy to do by that time.
To me, that just sounds like a whole lot of reason for DPS to just relax and let tanks/healers do their jobs.Supply and demand. You know why the wait queues for DPS are so long? That's because there are a thousand other DPS ahead of the queue in them. Kick a DPS and you'll likely get an instant replacement.
Why are the wait queues for tanks/healers so short? Because there are very few tanks/healers willing to queue. Kick a tank from the group and you're likely to spend another hour just hoping another tank will queue, AND have checked the "in-progress" box.
Also, the people who believe that they can play this MMO as a single-player game, refusing to give other people any consideration whatsoever, just shouldn't be playing this game.
Seeing as how this means that any underperforming DPS is very easily kicked and replaced, not really. Nobody ever notices when a DPS is doing their job well, either.
On the other hand, any underperforming tanks/healers are much more likely to keep their place, since it would be more difficult to replace them.
I think he meant dps should keep calm, not to underperform.Seeing as how this means that any underperforming DPS is very easily kicked and replaced, not really. Nobody ever notices when a DPS is doing their job well, either.

Gotta add a half of a 2nd regret onto there .. =/
Sign up for The Howling Eye again. I was bored, just chatting with a friend who had to go afk, so it's quick and easy run. Just something to do while waiting for him to come back.
As soon as we get in there, the healer went linkdead. And we had to replace her. - I knew voting to disband the party was option, but did not know it makes you wait 15 minutes before you can vote. No idea why. It's a stupid amount of time.
All-and-all it was not all that bad of a time waster. We made some jokes, and attacked the boss twice just to give us something to do while hoping a healer would join before the 15min timer was up, cuz we were not standing around do nothing for a second more than we had to.
No luck, so we disbanded.
Now assuming the group I left duo to that cactuar-mouth lancer (Ironically the dps in that Howling group was also a lancer. But he was funny.) did not find a replacement tank for that group, and just had to sit around for that timer to count down so they could disband without getting that penalty for leaving on their own....I feel bad for this 2 innocent bystanders in the group that just got caught between him and I. Those 15 minutes go by reaaally slow when your just sitting there counting the seconds.
But at the same time, I relish knowing that unless he took off the way I did, he stood around in that group with them for at least 10 minutes, and then voted to disband the group (knowing, and knowing the other two knew it as well) around the same time we would have been on the last boss, had he just followed and played his role in the group.

There is no penalty for leaving an undersized party, so once someone has left and eaten the penalty, everyone else can leave with no consequences.
Did Sohr Khai for an expert, we lost someone before the first boss because they were apparently getting Error 2002, their friend who was with us relayed that we could go on without him if we needed.
So we decided to 3 man the rest of the dungeon, and it actually went surprisingly well.![]()
