I remember seeing an Archer who had provoke when Labyrinth was the current raid to do. Used to use it every chance he got but yet his alliance would not kick him.
Those are actually kind of fun haha. But using macros like that probably hurts that person's dps a lot ;_;Oh, here we go again. All the crazy catgirls with dumb macros for their skills must be from Balmung. Right? Right??
I haven't had a cup of coffee yet. Bluntly asking seemed like the best course of action at the time.
And there's a macro for limit break. Of course there's a macro for limit break.
I wish I'd kept un-edited screenies of my last encounter with a skill-macro-spamming catgirl, because I swear it's the exact same person.
I'm certainly I stumbled into this person during a Weeping City run. The entire run was very similar marcos... and she kept clipping me with mechanics. >.>Oh, here we go again. All the crazy catgirls with dumb macros for their skills must be from Balmung. Right? Right??

This a good run I had this morning. Today I qued for Trials on my PLD, I get Nidhogg. o.o First time in awhile I did Trials with PLD. Ok I haven't exactly cleared Nidhogg for a second time and the first time was with NIN where I died a lot. Though I have attempted it once with PLD when I first tried it. I ended up as the MT after one or two attempts.
A couple more wipes and the party decided to try one more time and on that last attempt we cleared. I felt really accomplished after that because I didn't think I could do it but I did.I didn't die other than when we wiped. I was also able to get into the stack and get back into position before Nidhogg cleaved everyone. So it's my second time clearing the fight. xD
Got into a fun party on floors 41-50 in PotD. Entire network proceeds to die for an hour, even making me jog a kilometre or something to ask my Dad how to fix this crap and back, only to get told it came back on its own. Grumble.
Another party, a WHM, a MNK, a DRK and me on AST. We mop the floor, i get stupid lucky on the chests, one being a +2, meaning my 25/30 is 30/30 on floor 44.
We wipe on 48 because the monk went and pulled too many mobs while the tank did his thing (which had worked fine thus far). I'm shrieking internally at this point.
Requeue, same people.
Not a single. Silver. Chest. The. Entire. Run.
Getting the head mount after this is little consolation. I'm sitting on a 26/30 Aetherpool and have to reset to floor 1. This is fine. QvQ
Hmmm yeah that doesn't seem fair. You have the right to weep.*Snip* We do the orb boss. Everyone does their job. We pass through the "galaxy" phase and people start dying and I was targeted by a AOE bomb so I run away from my team to take on the impact. I ran a little too far and I wasn't in the range of my healer. 3 teams wipe. I got voted out...
People couldn't hold their own on the second boss and person who gets voted out is me who tanked it, because others couldn't. Talk about fair treatment.
Just out of curiosity, what do you refer to as "AoE bomb"? Meteor? The "everybody stack here" circle? Or did you mean you went to run into the balls circling the arena? The AoE Bleed? The bomb countdown that is not actually AoE?
Just now in an antitower group. Had to remind a smn to use dots and shadowflare, absolutely awful. Their healer friend even complained I was whining too much despite the fact they were doing awful.
I had the terrible misfortune to meet some extremely aweful paladins today (among other idiots - but as a main paladin thats paining me the most...)
Anyways; first story: Wiping city, on my scholar and with a friend as co-healer on ast. We get in and some of the dps seem to know each other from previous runs and they take right off, shittalking other people in the alliance (funny enough: they turn out to be... not to great themselves...). Our paladin tank has a weird mix of gear, but is all fine mostly - except for two little things: Hes not tanking the adds right at the start, so we have a croco running amok. Thats no biggie though, guess I wont leave all the healing to Selene for once and throw some spells out myself... We get to the first boss and he wants to maintank - sure, Selene can still mostly solo heal this with me&friend helping her now and then. If... well, if the tank knows how to tank and uses his cooldowns. During the whole run I saw him use a cooldown four times. And I had him on focus target. I asked him several time to use them - specially sentinel and fight or flight - but he didnt and only said "sorry"... yeah, sorry, for reaching level 60 without knowing how to play your job, I guess?
Meanwhile we were also struggeling with this BLM who would stand in everything bad and avoid anything good (like the barriere during the tombstone-miniboss... yep, he died to that. I dont raise people who die to that anymore btw). All in all a very unpleasent run, since the other partys were also struggeling and we had that early pulling ninja in A who must have been in a hurry and did not care that that didnt helped at all...
Second story: we choose to a8 to get said friend a shaft, I'm on war this time, hes on blm. We get in and get a new (I assume he was the one giving us the bonus) paladin-tank. Even though his equip was a lot worse than mine, I choose to OT because hes keeping shield-oath up. A decision I instantly regret when he starts going for a walk with the boss, pulling him to the edge, then into one corner, then into another one. I ask him to stand still and get hit with megabeam while typing. Standing still is to complicated for him though and since I'm pretty fed up with bad tanks for the day, I provoke the boss and tank the rest. Exceeeeept... there is no rest - dps fails to destroy the little adds or kill the boss fast enough for the phase transition, so we wipe. I inform the paladin that I'm going to MT now and he might aswell switch to Sword Oath. He refuses and tells me how I "died" and didnt dodge the beam and therefor cant maintank. I have it and just pull... and get really confused when he provokes. I tell him a tank switch isnt needed, because I know very well how to use my cooldowns, wont die and would actually prefer it if he'd just stayed put. He starts explaining the strat again and how there normally is a tank switch (...is there really? I've never did it that way) and in the end he drops a line that made me and my friend laugh so much that our pain got comforted a little: "if you can resist , ok" - I know that my english isnt perfect either but... resisting a sexy Brutalus-machine-boss in A8 is just to good...
(a healer dc'd mid-fight btw, so we wiped... with a not-very-good-dragoon finding some not-so-nice-words for the healer with the connection issue and then informing us that he would leave, sorry!)
