There's ALWAYS someone aiming the stacking ray on the Boeing bombers towards another's alliance. You can always expect lots of fun and shitshows in that one.
9/10 it's due to the tank standing on the outside of the arena, and everyone else on the inside. Or tank somewhere random and everyone on opposite side.
I personally find if I stand on he inside of the arena as tank, with my party on the outside, there is a much lower chance of getting others killed...but try telling that to other tanks, and they think you're crazy.
This is what I did too when I got that AR as a tank. People tend to mirror the main tank’s position + peeps are worried about getting tankbusted. So might as well occupy the closer to middle space to ensure people not hanging there, tunnel visioning, then ended up pointing the laser beam against one of two other alliance.9/10 it's due to the tank standing on the outside of the arena, and everyone else on the inside. You know...
If you're gonna be a tryhard Healer and Rescue me into a third pack maybe don't forget to heal in your quest to spam AoE.
Twice, lol.
Have you ever been kinda experiencing the burn out then said to yourself, I am warrior and my partner is white mage. How bad can this 50/60/70/80 roulette be? As long as we get 60 plus dungeon I cannot die.
Press the queue button after stuffing down the foods and awayyyyy we go to Pharos Sirius Hard. Welp, have never tanked here but I have the power of map! Just press the sprint button and run until something forces you to stop like all dungeons. Bad bad bad idea..
Pulls take so long to experience demise I am rotating through every cooldown I have into Holmgang then back through every cooldown I have.. multiple times.. The thought enters thine mind "to small pull or not to small pull?" but I am warrior I am unga bunga I no small pull. Ohhhh boy am I happy I decided to select warrior because no other tank at that level would have been capable of surviving. At the least we were benefiting from my aoe and healer aoe.
Holmgang used four times. Berserk used 39 times. Raw int used.. I had lost the count..
Saddest part about all of this? They were being fricken friendly! Annnnd this lala over here was too burnt out to assist them or offer advice on mechanics or not to run around like headless chickens with all the ads.
I logged off after this with one migraine and thus was swiftly reminded about why I seldom roulette anymore especially without full team of friends.
I know this advice tis not useful here in this thread buuuuuut, when ads spawn during boss encounter try walking towards the person that excels at being smacked by stuffs. The tank. Bring them to the tank. Also use the aoe buttons they are aoe buttons for reason. Ohhhh and delete vercure please Square, stop giving deeps classes gcd heals I do not care about pre-pull vercure. These types of players are not thinking about pre-pull anything accept for perhaps what they are smoking.

My biggest issue so far, apologists thinking we make this shit up, but in general, its a numbers game. Statistically, there's gonna be a higher number of average - bad players than there are good ones. So good players, like you, or at the very least people who understand their classes fully, have to painstakingly deal with bad healers and dps, till our eyes roll into the back of our skulls and we're drooling with rage. I'm an excellent tank and healer, and I've felt both the pain of a horrible healer not using and CD's and a Tank not knowing how to pull/understand their abilities....this isn't early game content either, its lvl 60+ dungeons. That and people still not knowing the boss phases annoys me. I'm not saying memorize every dungeon...however, the wiki exists for a reason.
When I tank it I always face my robot away from every alliance. If I'm in A or B for example I will point it toward a corner. Everyone else usually fans out on both sides and stacks together when needed.9/10 it's due to the tank standing on the outside of the arena, and everyone else on the inside. Just rain Stone Vigil (level 41 dungeon) for my daily Leveling Roulette as AST to level them up. I don't main healer and I noticed the tank (PLD) was taking a lot of damage and mobs were taking a while to die. I figured it must be my level 32 weapon making it harder (all other gear is green dungeon gear between level 38-40) and the fact that only the BRD in the group at hit the level cap for the dungeon so not everyone's stats were as high as they could have been. Well I noticed that after the 2nd boss that the tank wasn't using ANY mitigation and would have noticed earlier if I still wasn't getting used to the card system and giving cards out to people and when I checked their gear they were wearing store bought level 15 boots in a level 41 dungeon. I pointed this out and they happily said that they just replaced their level 15 helmet and chest last run as if a tank in low gear isn't a problem. I checked their classes and they had a WAR at level 55. How the hell do you play tank and have no clue how to play your job? They had Rampart, Sentinel, and Sheltron and not ONCE did they use any of those skills.
Bonus of the run was the DRG didn't use an aoe attack at all. They were 41. The aoe attack for DRG is at level 40.
It has nothing to do with you as tank, but with who has stack marker. If that person wants to mess with another alliance, he will undoubtedly do so.
