I want to know your experience guys. I've been encountering a lot of Tanks not using mitigation during pulls in the Expert Roulette and I really suffer as a SGE. Although any Healer would want to cry in this situation I guess.

Ain't got nothing to do with you being a SGE. A tank using no CDs feels like wet tissue paper to all healers.

Roulette, final Trial, SGE. Lot of new people, and me and my co-healer haven't done this since first week. That is ok though! ... And then one of the DNC disconnects less than a minute into the pull.

We have frequent deaths, but me and my fellow SGE are doing a good job picking people off the floor (and eachother, in a few instances), we reach the add phase, and...

Wait.

We don't have LB3.

The second time around, with a new RPR friend, is considerably smoother (for me, especially) and we get it done without much trouble but man was it kind of a bummer to come up to that insurmountable wall (because the tanks couldn't use their insurmountable walls).

If you're referring to needing LB3 for the tank one, that trial will give you it. We had someone in the trial a few days ago use it as DPS and it got filled when we hit the point that it is needed.

There's no 3d bar if it's not a full party, and with DCed DNC it's exactly that, not a full party.

Yep, if a player gets fully disconnected, you lose your full party status and only have 2 bars. We, of course, made it past the DPS check, and were promptly obliterated.

One cannot overcome despair without 8 functioning internet connections.

Strange start to Savage reclears.

Ofc it ends up not being a weekly reclear but a glorified practice party.

Very strange macro posted that I wish I saved and weird waymarks both of which I've never seen before and they REALLY insisted on using it, dunno if a static/ FC that have their own '' tactics '' and expected everyone else to know.
And the tank insisted on tanking the boss facing at the group with me being the only person at the back of the boss ( MNK and RPR for some reason were hitting him from the front too the entire time ).
We spent like 40 min wiping before I left every time the tank moved out in the last second with the tank buster it didn't occur to him or anyone else that maybe we shouldn't just be one big group tanks included.
And he almost ran into me with it constantly because when he had to move away with the tank buster he moved to the back of the boss where I was turning the boss around 360.

Then he seem'd offended when I asked him if he could tank the boss facing North lol.
I dunno how you get to this point without understanding something so basic about tanking.

Same tank DC:ed and we had to wait for him second pull too, not worth it.

Edit: The OT killed us with the Flare too, so he wasn't much better.
He kept panicking too with the Shackles of Time.

Just got out of a Heroes Gauntlet from hell. The 20min in prog 50/60/70/80 roulette should have been an indicator...but thought it wouldn't be so bad since, well...easy stuff in there. They weren't even past the first boss. The tank was doing single pulls(okay, whatever, I can live with that). The healer was...not DPSing more than a couple Holy every pack. The SMN was new, and trying. The healer left the SMN dead whenever they died, and was using Cure III when 1 person needed healing on the last boss. The SMN respawned because they weren't getting ressed(for 20% they were laying on the ground....). I really should have taken it as a sign when they were still at the first boss and just left right away after the 20min...as is it took another 30min to clear it from the first boss room.

So.. this morning after I got home from work, I decided to hop on one of my Alts to play him. He was still doing the CT raids and I decided to finish them up. I go into Syrcus Tower things aren't going to bad (though my co healer, I was on Whm and they were too, was ... hell I don't know what they were doing, barely dpsing but anyway what ever) then we get to Amon. Now mind you I'm always tempted to type in alliance something about taking bets on who dies to Curtain Call, cause you know it's normally bound to happen, when he starts casting it... we have people trapped in ice and we have people who are frogs. The people who are frogs break all the ice and we wipe /facepalm. I was curious about deaths to that attack but not a complete raid wipe because of people destroying the ice pillars.....
