Some people can act like babies sometimes.
First boss in Pandaemonium and the tank insta pulls and someone gets mad and then dies on purpose and keeps spamming to reset and about how much of a noob the tank is for insta-pulling and how '' typical '' it is.

I get being annoyed at it, especially when I am on NIN and I skip the cutscene and the tank instantly pulls because everyone skipped at the same time/ I was the slowest.
But this was a RPR lol.
I know they have a channel spell you can instantly charge outside of combat but still.
Yes it's annoying even if it's just roulettes, but this person got ressed and refused to accept the ress and was arguing and throwing a fit the entire time.
Just stayed dead the whole fight lol.

I do think that the Tank was a bit of an ass too, before the RPR started throwing a fit and had basically just said '' sigh... Why did you pull '' the Tank basically was all like '' cry about it ''.
I really hate when people do that shit too, like they do something that's wrong and when called out on it they accuse people of crying it's just really immature.

Just thought it was weird and a tad funny tho, I don't think I've ever seen someone be that stubborn before and act '' elitist '' about it to that level.
On the other hand the whole '' cRy MoAr '' spiel is really annoying and makes you come across as a complete douche too and is essentially just begging for an argument to happen.
Even if it happened to be true in this case it kinda immediately made me go from '' wow this RPR is an ass '' to '' wow they're both assholes ''.

I've weaned off of FFXIV to play Skyrim so I haven't had many interesting DF experiences (apart from that one time I got Rabanastre to pop and people died a lot). But I do find it funny hearing my partner seethe and hiss in voice chat when doing MSQ dungeons. Seems he has single-pulling tanks, no damage healers, rude people and sometimes all together a lot more lately.

Might have accidentally hit taunt while another tank was MT in forth circle. Oop. Genuinely not intentional, just on auto-pilot and noticed I had the boss at some point. Given that I rarely have stance on(didn't here either, but put it on after), maybe that was it... unless they shirked me for some reason, which I don't see why they would. /shrug
I have it bound where it is easily accessible for me but don't really have issues with hitting it when I don't mean to typically, so meh.

First circle... got the "run this away from everyone else" marker, ran into a corner (boss was closer to the center, but not right in the middle)... only to see everyone was parked close for some reason, tried to run further off... apparently wasn't far enough, since they took heavy damage, then took the stack marker after that and a number of people dropped. This happened twice (with the stack pointing at me also), and while I'm willing to take the blame for the first one, I'm kinda wondering if both were even my fault... Could have been, since insomnia has really been kicking my butt lately. Meh!

Would have been in favor of resetting just to boot the RPR, honestly. The tank could have responded better or not at all, but the RPR was actual dead weight. Incredibly obnoxious.

So, had an amazing plot-twist of a run this evening:

Hero's Gauntlet, I'm BLM and along with have GNB, WHM, and RPR. All of us our casually geared, the AST just recently came back to the game and picked up healing, and the RPR is also pretty new. GNB Tanks says he's a god-tank and it's all good, won't matter and we'll ezclap our way through.

Run starts fairly smooth, but AST dies during the 1st boss. Not a big deal, simply overlooked an AOE so the rest of us burn down the boss and we proceed apace. On the way to the 2nd boss a couple of the pulls get a little hairy, but we keep on keeping on and get to the 2nd boss. Now here's a couple more deaths, both the AST and the RPR, but again we're able to down the boss and proceed.

On the way to the last boss, pull the first 2 packs before the large locked gates and proceed to wipe because the tank died, AST isn't able to get him up quickly enough, DPS go down then gets the GNB back up but then they go down because they have no dps and we couldn't get back quickly enough, lol. It's become clear that the run is going a bit long and folks are getting tired, but you know what? Up to this point for every death, every individual apologized immediately. And everyone wasn't bothered at all! We started cracking jokes, telling stories of old runs, even joking about how we should go to a Library to find a book on how to "git gud", lolol

Sure enough, the last boss was a hot mess, I lost count of the number of times we died, hahahahahaha. But to me, the best part was that none of us cared. We kept joking along, discussing strats, and having a good time. By the end of it made a few new friends which was cool, and even though the run took a bit, it's probably one of the funnest runs I've had of the place.

Gentlemen, I don't know if any of you even look at these forums, but if you do, know that I tip my hat to you all! Many thanks for making what's normally a fairly generic speed run into a truly fun adventure!

A WHM/AST almost killed me the other day doing O10N because I ran in the opposite direction when the boss does the normal AoE. The healer didn't like that I guess and used Rescue on me, making me go under the boss so I got hit.

I think i just met the 'why are you run after me' situation today.
It was Asphodelos, i rolled into the group with half of the party are first timers which included one of healers too.
The fight was uh... struggle because people kept dying left and right, and our first-time healer died in almost every mechanic, causing the other healer to raise him over and over while keeping us alive.

    And then it happened...
When the boss cast spread marker, no one moved from their spot (which is super overlapping), so I tried to run to another safe spot, but the other healer chased after me... or so it appeared on my screen.
And for some reason, he just decided to stand in the exact same spot as me, and we both died as a result.
I just erm?*for a moment and thought, "well, it happened."
But that healer doesn't think so; he starts shouting, "why did you run after me*and kill both of us?" I try to explain that I didn't, and that I saw him run "after" ME, but he insists that it was my fault, and I just bruhhh.
then things started getting interesting from there because he was so irritated that he refused to give me any healing and even ran away from the stack marker if he noticed I was the one who got marked...
i managed to survive somehow and we took like 30 mins in there because both of healers died 3-4 times after that wipe too and it was funny because even without me around he still died anywhere. *giggle*

well... don't take me for a bad guy, I feel bad for him because solo healing the new raid would be stressful, but man... he just so salty.

Friend needed Zodiark for their SCH alt's MSQ, so I and a few of our FC hopped in to help them out. First pull goes horribly, mostly due to a fair number of deaths and both tanks seeming to be less than stellar. The friend who needed the clear was also admittedly half-asleep due to the time of night, but it's hard to recover when half your party is dying or getting vuln stacks anyway.

Healers die to the stack since we only had a few people up for it, rest of us jump off since no one could res. Before the next pull when some mechanics are getting explained, our MT goes "hey [OT] what's up with your health?"

This is when the horror set in:

This dude was in level 70 artifact gear and level 15 normal quality hodgepodge MSQ accessories. I don't even know how they got in Zodiark, I could've sworn it had a min iLvl - but either way. When we all pointed this out, they basically went "tough, guess you're stuck with me".

Only for them to immediately disappear from a votekick.

    Catharsis.

'Course, the MT also left for some reason?? But we got two new tanks who had actual gear on, and the pull went smooth.

I give up with you people. Forum community is absolutely unhinged. Imagine joining my alt's FC just to wait for me to come online to harass me lmao.

Smileton, I'm on my SGE since faster queue's. My favorite dungeon, we just speed through the first half, tank and DPS doing great. First boss. 1 DPS dying to mechanics, not understanding the Red and Blue to die instantly. Yells at me for not clearing Doom debuff and to pay attention. I raise them, and correct them that the Doom mechanic is from two bosses in Deadends and they are mistaken.

Needless to say, was quite confused, even the tank tried to explain the mechanics and proceeded to explain them for the other two bosses, which just upset the DPS even more. Can't win sometimes lol

Recently got the mentor tag, the week before Endwalker launched, and got it back last weekend when I got my tank to 90 - but I'm not exactly a mentor to everything just yet...

Forgot to take it off before queueing for pandaemoneum normal last night on melee DPS. Not exactly sure which one it was I got - my second time in there. I swear the healers took my tag to mean "ignore that person".

I went down to normal raid damage that everyone was taking, as I was not getting any heals and neither of them seemed able to spare an AoE. Eventually get a rez and that sets the pattern for the whole boss, never getting healed, so going down - because I'm coming up at very low and being left there. I'm on Reaper, so I've only got the two DPS self heals that don't exactly do much when they're all you've got, and some healing potions. They kept rezzing me... so I kept going back in and doing my best, but not a drop of a heal to spare, so I kept going back down... I did fail mechanics once or twice - good considering it was the second time I'd seen the boss. But bad because when you're at 10% health a fail of even a minor mechanic is a faceplant.

Shortly after this... I queue for 'expert' dungeon, on tank this time (my tank is too low iLevel for the raid still). And I get a healer that's spending the entire run ignoring me so I'm having to use all my cooldowns which slows down my pulls because while warrior can run the dungeon without a healer - not by chain pulling if your warrior is just at the place's iLevel. Then she DC's when we reach the last boss...

Then I queue for trial roulette, still on the warrior. Get zodiark... and we have one healer calling out the other healer for not doing enough... yet that one healer was... not casting a single heal... I suspect I was the second highest healer - because I'm spending the whole run spamming 'Shake if Off' or keeping 'Nascent Flash' up on the healer because why...

That noted, I did run all 4 bosses of the raid and the other 3 were amazing. But after that bad run soon as I got out I took off that mentor tag. People seem to want to 'take it out on you' when you have that thing on.

I'm thinking I need to get my iLevel up on my healer ASAP so I can at least have some 'self agency' if I dare to wear the mentor tag / forget to remove it...

I wanted that thing because I like helping people - which is more needed in leveling content. But older players have an attitude towards it, so I need to remember to not have it on when doing high level content.
