I think it’s a good habit to heed a countdown timer. I’ve seen more people appreciating voluntary PTs than not. I.e. no need to ask, just set it quickly anyways, so long it’s not used to pressure a cutscene watcher to skip the cutscene.

What I couldn’t fathom was why would those two players aren’t making their own full premade or PF for their… Normal Raid parse…? And instead choosing to subject a random group to cater for their shiny numbers. That definitely doesn’t felt nice.

I do not mind the PT and it is appreciated, i even do it when i can but i see enough players who just pull without timer without any warning and still just continue playing, not making any reset for that so that is why I just can't understand the mentality of people obsessed with parsers or such in a casual normal raid.

It is like, yeah it got pulled, this one goes like this, maybe next instance will be better.

Generally, when someone realises they joined a PF for the wrong EX fight, it's rather gauche to send them abusive /tells for leaving -- before the party had even filled.

Fist week on the Phoenix-like boss from Pandemonium: Im playing as Dragoon and the boss does the 4 squares lava thing and stays in the exact middle of the lava intersection. Since i cant melee it I decide to use High Jump it, believing it works similar to a ranged atack mechanics wise.

To my surprise when I jump on it and eat 3 vul stacks alongside 3 ticks of damage that instakills me and back to my original position falling dead after High Jump animation ends xD

I got Panda circle 2 last night for normal raid roulette even though I and a few others hadn't done it before. We wiped a couple times and couldn't get the boss below 40%. I felt so sorry for the people who had done it before and had to deal with we newbies. The real kicker was my FC was preparing to do a learning run for everyone not long after that.

dear whm; how can you be so petty over a simple "please don't use cure at this level" in the ivalice raids that you proceed to use it whenever you can on me up until the final boss? it was simple advice after I saw you struggling to heal people, you weren't at low mp either

Had a WHM spamming Cure 1 on me any time I took a scratch - in Stigma Dreamscape. This was on top of them barely doing anything otherwise, just standing there watching paint dry rather than DPSing half the time.

I've just kinda given up hope with WHM players, at this point.

I share your pain. I must be getting massively unlucky, because every single WHM I've had has either been a troll, or been an incredibly rude player to the entire party.

The amount of troll rescue's I've seen in the last week alone is more than the entire expansion duration of Shadowbringers. I had a WHM last night continue to rescue me during the second boss of Dreamscape, during the mechanic with the numbered dots that you are supposed to line yourself up with the matching dots, so no lasers overlap on anyone.

This WHM kept repeatedly rescuing me into them, so our combined lasers (They were standing in the wrong spot) would wipe the party. Every time we (2 DPS and me, the tank) would question them WHY in party chat, they kept arguing we were doing the mechanic wrong.

We vote dismissed them and got a SGE, who was very happy to chat and have a fun time with us.

I feel like I'm just collecting bad WHM stories at this point. Also, STILL have yet to get a single dungeon roulette (Expert, 50/60/70/80, or Leveling) with an AST. I'm starting to think they all went extinct.

I told people here healers were using rescue (badly) much more frequently lately! I'm just lucky to not have seen so many outright trolls as some of you, I suppose.
