Jumped into trial roulette. All seven other players were lalafells in different costumes. Moogle, frog, chicken, rabbit, pig, gnath, and vanu. It was pretty hilarious.

Last night I ran Amaurot as a SCH with my friend (DRK), to help him get his Shoebill minion and for his mogtome. We're also chatting in discord VC.

The DPS rando were a SMN and DNC.

Everything went stellar smooth. After 2nd boss he mentioned in party chat: "How to make things spicy...", then answered his own question in VC:"Oh I know, I'll use Living Dead!"

Despite my disagreement, he actually pulled that off at very last mob pull before Therion. This meme serves better to explain what exactly happened:


We were screaming & laughing in VC. By the time he died there were still about 4 mobs left mowing us down as he waited for the res animation. Nobody else died and we both apologized to the randos for the scare. We cleared the run without problem afterward, with both comm handed to my friend. No shoebill though, sadly.

Oke, I have one to share, happened 2 days ago. AND OOO BOI, YOU GUYS ARE IN FOR A RIDE. I really need to tell step by step what happened, otherwise you would not believe.
I normally Heal or Tank my LvL 80 Roulettes, a DPS spot was in need, so, I said : Welp, why not! <picks BLM>

We got The Grand Cosmos

So, what about the party ?

Tank, DRK at 510 iLvL(returner), Me a BLM at 523 iLvL, Healer, AST at 530 iLvL and a DRG at 510 iLvL

So, first mobs, in the corridor on the left, Tank runs past them not even grabbing aggro, me being the idiot I am, decided, I gonna pop Lightning 4, DRG was smarter than me, decided not to touch them, Healer full on panic mode to keep me alive and me still in the state of :BRAIN/OFF - HAHA <FIRE 2> GOES BRRR not realizing that Tank just "forgot"

Tank realizes something is amiss, we are not with him, runs back, sees me at 12% HP with a really sweaty AST on my side and a DRG doing his AoE rotation and I bet, facepalming on what the Idiot Tank and BLM are doing. So, Hero to the rescue right ? He literally targets 1 mob, presses <Provoke> and just tanks that one mob. I am internally screaming, the AST is probably having a heart attack and the DRG laughing his ass off.

Somehow, we clean the FIRST pack of mobs.

So, I think to my self, dude just a Returner, probably forgot there is a spawn on that place.

HOOOO BOI, HOW WRONG I WAS!

So, we got to the second pack, I'm not touching my spells, just keep chain going, learned my lesson the first time. Tank actually grabs all of them, I say to my self : Fine, I start to DPS them down.
I do never learn do I ? <Lightning 4>, OH I HAVE 2 <Foul's> STORED, BETTER POP THEM.

<Insert aggro sound here>

All the mobs run to me to slap me, well, not all, one remained with our amazing DRK who has been slapping it since the mobs appeared.
AST is crying, BLM is screaming, DRG is laughing.

Somehow we survive the SECOND trash pull.

So, now for the two bigger monsters right before first boss. Somehow, the DRK managed to grab both, AST,BLM,DRG learning their lesson, only target the one who the DRK is hitting, and behold
we killed them without our AST needing a bypass!

First Boss.

DRK starts to do Tank things, BLM and DRG literally looking at themselves if they should start to DPS or just wait a TAD longer. We decide to start, and to our astonishment, DRK keeps aggro well under control.
So we proceed to murder the hell out of the boss. First stack marker appears, so Me, DRG and AST stack to soak the damage. Where is our Tank you ask ? Still standing in the same spot in front of the boss. We are standing at the bosses back. But hey, we manage no problem. Circle AoE appears under the boss, we are run away to not get hit....except our Tank, he just stands there, not moving, not using <The Blackest Night> just hitting the boss....menacingly.

The Brooms appear, we just avoid it, no problem. I turn around to start HAHAHA, <Fire 4> GOES BRR The Boss, the moment I turn around, I see a dead body flying across my screen. And a Really familiar sound pinging form my speakers and I swear to God, I could hear the sound of glass breaking and shattering from our AST. So AST pops his <Ascend> Tanks gets up and actually <Provoke> the boss. Don't know what happened, but we somehow managed to kill the first boss BEFORE the second set of Brooms spawns.

So, we proceed to run towards the Second boss.

The Nervous BLM, The Crying AST and the Laughing DRG run about 15 Meters behind the Tank. The Porxie's spawn. Me : I AINT TOUCHING NOTHING, AST gets aggro, DRG is standing behind me. Tank grabs them after they gave some slaps to the AST, BLM and DRG still keeping their distance, hiding behind the AST, neither of them touching their spells until we see at least one or two <Unleash> Tank does not use it after the one when he grabbed them from the AST.
The DRG and BLM start to carefully kill the flying Pork one by one. The next 3 Mobs spawn, and we do it again, carefully murdering one after one. Third pack spawns and the story repeats, Until we get to the last pack of Porxies right before the second boss. BLM"s finger is itching, he needs to <Foul>, I look at our AST who is at this point probably sobbing at his desk. He sees my cast bar. Turns around and sees <Surecast> and <Triplecast> on me

Chaos commences. But the Party lives! (well, except the nerves of our AST)

Second Boss time!

And Nothing special happened, our DRK just stood in the middle, just doing his rotation
and we decided to take care of the seeds our self.

Well time for the final pack of trash before the boss!
