A Paladin once lost aggro during a Trial to the other tank, so threw a fit, he died and demanded the team carry him through the entire trial while he just laid there. He denied mine and the other healer's resurrects and started boasting how he's done this before when things didn't go his way, all the time he's swearing at the other tank and calling him every name under the sun.

I couldn't believe the level of childish he was. "I lost the aggro so I'm gonna expect a carry throughout the trial" - That's someone I'm never going to forget. It was a reaction so extra caused by something so insignificant.

I hope you kicked them!

One good and two bad stories. BLM mains watch out, you have been warned.

1. Expert Roulette: Matoya's Relict
   Let's start out with the good one first. Rolled as a BLM. Nothing much happened. After porxie's incapacitated I quickly bolt out but I still see the 3 commendations from the party. Wow! Thankies!
   
2. Level 50/60/70 Dungeons: Kugane Castle
   Here goes the bad story: rolled as a SCH, paired with DRK, NIN, and BLM. Three of them are sprouts and we get that first timer notification. Once the barrier falls off the BLM immediately sprint forward and facepull all the starter mobs. DRK was a bit slow reacting to this shenanigan, together with the NIN lagging behind but nonetheless managed to secure the aggro eventually. I was guessing the first timer could be the NIN and DRK.
   
   DRK proceed on to continue single pulling for the rest of the run...it's fine... it doesn't bother me. What bothers me is I kept hearing the sound effect of Enochian being casted. I start to pay attention to the BLM from before 1st boss starts. To sum it up, apparently the BLM is using the Enochian akin to your generic "DPS burst window". Four or five Fire IVs were cast after every Enochian before they proceed on doing the pre lv50 rotations. So that means, no Foul, no big damages. Oh whatever..
   
   When we reach the last boss, turns out the first timer are the DRK and the BLM (I saw the map completion achievement notification)
   
3. Level 80 Dungeons: AmaurotI swear this one's might as well renamed into 'Amaurot Roulette'
   Rolled as an AST, paired with PLD, SAM, and BLM. I knew something was completely wrong when I realized I was cycling the 60s abilities TWICE in first mob pull. Yes, you've guessed it. It's the friggin' BLM. This one's even worse than the one I met in Kugane Castle. NO Enochian, at all. So that's zero Fire IV, Blizzard IV, Despair Foul, and Xenoglossy while dealing 15% less damage overall.
   
   But wait, there's more! No thunder DoTs & AoEs, -at all-. Yes, that means no double/triple/quadra-Flares either vs packs. Their spellcast are all over the place. Fire III wasn't used as a tool to get a quick AF3. They hardcasted Fire I over and over to gain AF3. Blizzard III was used at random pace. Sometimes they're not even halfway consuming MP bar with Fire Is, they'd start switching to UI3 with Blizzard III. Fire III is casted randomly but sometimes they would cancel it just to cast next random spells (mostly Blizzard III)
   
   Also that SAM stood on a glowy crumbling ledge at Therion on 2nd Apokalypsis cast then be like "Dude, are you serious?"; that cracks me up so hard I hurt my side.
   
   The run itself took 29m to complete. I'm spent and don't feel like running anymore roulettes until next day, perhaps.

I was in Paradigm's Breach and I saw dialogue from Red Girl that I have NEVER seen before.



Given we had been fighting her for about 20 minutes, I can only imagine she was going to enrage. Which I didn't even know possible, honestly.

Exact opposite of those Trash Mages in Paglth'an. I carried this dead last aggro NIN from start to finish. Dropped Addle during magical raid wides. Maximized damage using potions on Ley Lines and everything else when I should. Mobs melted, bosses dissolved. Used LB on last boss because I knew NIN wouldn't. No commendations.

Just had 2 interesting Hell's Lid runs due to a bot WHM making an appearance in both runs.

Run #1:
The WHM ran past the first set of mobs and got stuck running into a wall for several minutes. We eventually kicked them since we were waiting at the first boss and they were still at the beginning running into the wall. We just assumed they were AFK.

Run #2:
The exact same WHM again proceeded to run into a wall, but they were able to free themselves and follow us down. It was then that I noticed they weren't casting anything and were making no effort to avoid AoEs. It was undeniable they were a bot during the first boss when their AI got stuck and began rapidly casting Stone over and over again and cancelling each cast within a fraction of a second at the start of each cast. During the second boss they would only cast Stone and nothing else. They made no effort to move from any of the AoEs and just stood there spamming Stone until they died to avoidable damage. We cleared up to the final boss and took the time to write a report before finally kicking them to get a real person as a replacement.

Pretty sure that fight doesnt have an enrage. Enrages are fairly rare in alliance content. Though i suppose she could drop a meteor without any walls to block the blast, so there is at least a mechanic from the fight that could be used.

Rookie numbers, mate.
My longest run took 47min. Without having to wait for replacements or anyone afking. Let that sink in. I've spend less time on savage reclears than this.

It's beyond me how people can get to 80 without even knowing the absolute basics. Even boosting to 70 with your first class would not be a valid excuse to be this bad. The one thing I keep hearing when it comes to BLM aoe in dungeons and NN is that they don't want to use Flare because it consumes too much MP - what?
It's a good thing you warned the BLM mains because I was at least somewhat prepared for the pain. I've seen better bots than this.

Queued for Snowcloak with an lvl 50 alt for the ARR relic questline and got another shining example of "you don't pay my sub".

I rolled as SCH, the other three were new to the dungeon. I generally enjoy running dungeons with newbies - but I greet at the start of the dungeon, and get nothing in return. That's always a red flag for me but okay i think, and the fun starts. Our Tank is very slow and pulls only one pack at a time but that's fine if they are new and need to get accustomed to their role and the dungeon.

I always try not to come off as some kind of over the top teacher but I throw in a short sentence at the second boss, simlpy asking not to kill the spriggans and to freeze them with the bosses aoe instead. I even mark the spriggans with ignore...but as soon as the dds see them, they kill them off. The boss took a long time for snowcloak-standarts, we got three stacks of weakness from the aoe that has to be interrupted.

Same story at Fenrir...I ask them to stack behind the last remaining icicle when they fall for the second time. I even try to rescue the tank behind it, only for them to run away again.

Even though them not doing what I asked them to wasn't that much trouble in the end, it was kinda annoying (especially during the yeti). So as my leaving remark, I left them with a simple "GG, but not listening to advice won't get you far in the long run."

I guess the tank took personal offense to this, as they whispered me after the dungeon, telling me if I'm 'choosing to be so ruuude to the party in the end, they don't need my advice' and that I should just keep it to myself.

...right after this in Stone Vigil Hard, I had the exact opposite kind of new people in my party however, very nice, greeting at the start, listening to me when explaining canons, one of them even wrote in the end how happy they are that the community is so nice. That gave me hope for the future

Bahahahahahaha!! Well I’m certainly aware my time spent there wasn’t the worst. It’s all thanks to the PLD & SAM being pretty decent at their job (except that oopsie vs Therion). I myself was dpsing very hard, so hard the BLM never went up higher than me in enmity order it was utterly mind boggling—as an AST nonetheless! I’ve had longer and seen worse ones but that was coupled by not only one, but two or more players not carrying their weight. Gladly enough it’s quite rare.

And yes mate, I warn the BLM mains, because I adore playing as one & no words could perfectly describe the extent of pain (in a good way) from recalling and writing that experience.

See, I thought that, too. But funnily enough, did you know that the 4 Queen's Guards in Delubrum Normal can enrage? Yeah, I learned that the hard way in a group with low dps.

That's just her standard dialogue mate. She says those lines every time.

Ah, well, honest mistake. I've never seen her say it.
