A quick 80 roulette from last night: Akadaemia Anyder. Rolled in as a DNC (hey I wanna smash stuffs too okay.), matched with DRK, AST, & MNK.

Besides the smooth run we had, the AST made a ‘mini game’. Loading into the dungeon, they typed: “Diurnal or Nocturnal.” I see that they already have Noct stance so I just picked Noct. The MNK also says Noct, while the DRK says Diurnal.

AST:”Too bad, you got Nocturnal!”
True to that, they stayed nocturnal until post first boss & asked the same question again. Hence it repeats.

Hmm... maybe I should try that too sometimes myself as an AST

A while back Normals Roulette threw me into O6 as a GNB. My intention had been to do the thing as off tank, so I held back a bit and let the other tank (a DRK) smack the boss a couple times before switching on my stance and smacking it with the intent of staying second on the aggro list in case MT went down. MT didn't go down but immediately after turning on my stance and doing a combo or two, I shot to the top of the aggro list and stayed there. I didn't use Provoke and neither did the MT-turned-OT. It was weird but the DRK wasn't exactly competing with me for aggro so I rolled with it. That was a weird fight.

It's essentially the same as Xande's Quake mechanic where you need 3 to survive it. In this case, it looks like 5 is the minimum.
