Last night Gubal Library took my team 50 minutes to clear, hahaha. Played with 2 sprouts throughout--well, there's another one non-sprout with me but they left midway, probably because they're pissed off XD Got another one though as a replacement, a Dancer.
I am WHM, the other two sprouts are Gunbreaker and Dragoon. These two are clearly new, especially the Gunbreaker. They got hit multiple times by Demon's Wall darkened floor attack, which is pretty easy to evade, the Gunbreaker didn't move to the other side when the Boss did that "open book - close book you're dead" move, etc etc. The Gunbreaker was especially quite a handful, dashing forward without getting aggro on the enemies first (the previous DPS left because of this, hahaha), activating all the mitigation skills at the same time, moving around a bit too much, etc etc. He's quite a handful, hahaha.
The last boss tho, we wiped 3... or was it 4? times, lol, mainly because the Gunbreaker didn't understand that we need to close all the floor before adds were summoned, and especially because the Gunbreaker, and the Dragoon, didn't move at all when they got marked by the boss and then got shot with exploding orbs that gives everyone near them vuln stacks, at one point the Gunbreaker accumulated like 8 stacks, now how can I heal that XD
I gave instructions, the Dancer too, and we finally got the boss at the 3rd.. or was it 4th? attempt, hahaha. The Gunbreaker didn't reply at all when I gave instructions in chat, but he followed my instructions on that last boss at last and that was when we succeeded. I didn't mind, some people just didn't like to chat for whatever reason, I understand, at least we managed to get past the boss, lol.
Honestly, it was kinda fun, hahaha.
Never a bad idea to carry some HQ status cleansing items, potions, or ethers! Might save you in a pinch.I really need to start doing this.
Even with a friendly reminder in alliance chat ("Friendly reminder that {Interject} will interrupt the big mobs AoE paralysis move") there is almost invariably at least one of them that goes off. I think I can recall out of all the runs I've done it's only happened perfectly once... maybe twice, but if I had to bet I'd put it on once. Sometimes the healers are on top of Esuna when it happens, but even when they are it can take a while for them to get around to you if you happen to be lower down in their party list.
This isnt so much an individual story and more a... general expression of confusion and despair:
Why, oh why is it that in pretty much every Puppetbunker-run at least one of the big adds after the first boss gets their paralysis off?
I think I've seen one, maybe two runs where all adds were interrupted - every other run, at least one add gets that raid-wide debuff off. And thats with each group having multiple people with an interrupt - every tank has one, all ranged have one and I've yet to see a group with no ranged dps (2 or 3 is actually pretty common...).
Do people not know about being able to interrupt this? Or about interrupt in general? Is it possible that 8+ people all use their interrupt on the same add, leaving one or two others completly unattended?
And: Do I actually want to hear the answer, which is most likely that the majority of people are just totally clueless?
Too busy spamming their AoE's, probably haven't even targeted the big adds. This isnt so much an individual story and more a... general expression of confusion and despair:

It's just that most people (non casters at least) don't care about paralysis. You can pretty much ignore it, even in week 1, and clear the field anyway without much problems.

Paralysis is a problem for me no matter what class I play.
My guess for why people don't interrupt (or use role actions in general) is this: don't have that skill bind or on their Hotbar. For a tank/ranged DPS there is no reason at all for not use it.
Another recurrent problem is an improper configuration of "current target" cast bar, by default is not an area we focus during a fight.

I tend to forget about it on ranged because I'm expecting the tank to do it.
Tanks who play high end content (EX and up) will know all about interrupting casts and should always have it on their hotbar.Paralysis is a problem for me no matter what class I play.

That's why i like to go as a healer when queuing up for the bunker. I get to Esuna the entire party, multiple times! (^_^ )-b (I'm joking...) However, fights like these, i wish they would add an "Esunaga"-spell to the game. That will make our lives a lot easier. (^_^; ) The bunker is also the duty where i get to use Rescue (for good) quite a bit. Not too long ago, i got to use Rescue almost on cooldown and used it 8 times in 1 duty.I really need to start doing this.

It was quite fun to do, to be honest (actually saving people with Rescue and getting a "Thank you" instead of a jab / insult).
Credit goes to Niqo'te for her fabulous art in the "Nique's happy fun time!"-thread and Nix/Capa for the Caitlyn drawing to the right. \(^_^ )/
