Just got out of the craziest Orobonne in progress ever, I see the 47 min time and I'm like my spidey senses tell me it's Thunder God and sure enough it was, I load in and they've pulled it and I notice A doesn't have a tank I'm like that can't be good. But surprisingly the BRD is tanking and they use Warden's Paean on themselves when the TBs come out which is what I do on my tank I'm like damn that's pretty good! No pug BRDs I see ever use that, we're also crackin jokes n such so everyone is pretty chill and we all joke about the BRD tanking.

We do Ultima and everything is going well until 2.3% when everyone implodes and it's just 2 tanks alive (we'll call one "Larry" if you know who you are you're a gem <3), one tank pops tank LB 3 to eat a TB and he dies, boss is at 1% everyone's screaming "YOU GOT THIS, KILL HER", he's at 10%, TB comes out, Living Dead into Walking Dead 0.3, 0.2, 0.1% screen goes dark and then she dies everyone starts going WOO you did it "Larry!".

Everyone was dancing and having a good time man I wish I joined that before it was in progress because it was the most fun I'd had in awhile, to anyone reading this from that raid thanks for your company and jokes really brightened up my day, also left with 4 comms which was really nice as well.

Issues with the tank are also valid as using cooldowns does not excuse other missteps on part of the tnk like over pulling, improper CD use, et cetera. The assumption that it meant "the tank didn't use any CDs" is 100% your assumption. SRSLY, look up the meaning to devil's advocate



1) is like a problem because controller players have to use more inputs and maximizing divination can lead to ignoring the tank altogether
2) is the most plausible because the roles require different mentalities, and the most common occurrence because of returning players and the success of ShB. OMG, I've totally wiped a few parties that way
3) is basically life stuff, and... Srsly, just try healing with like a really high fever spiking mid-dungeon...

Controller is not a problem at all. You're crazy. This is such a non-issue.

Bailed on an expert roulette the first time last night.

Got Akademia Ayder as a GNB, (i450ish), no first time bonuses etc, looks like a normal roulette run.

Do the first wall to wall pull and it's go very very poorly.

Healer freaks out and says you pulled way too much!. I responded that "that is the normal first pull of the dungeon".

He goes "LOL no."

So I check this guys gear and he hasn't even gotten his free AF gear, and is trying to heal this in lvl 76-79 gear.

I don't say anything else and just ditch. 30 minute penalty was worth it to avoid that.

I had a run in akademia where WHM was probably doing something else irl, because we wiped 2 times on first pull.
I left the duty after this, no way i am going to tank for a healer who is not even trying.
His gear was 440-450 btw and the heals were very delayed.

Akadaemia Anyder run, pull to the wall, business as usual. Tank went ahead to pulling the next set of trash before the first boss, and oddly, the healer was standing way in the back, not moving a centimeter. My fiance started a vote dismiss since it seemed suspicious, and the tank revealed that they were in a call with the healer, and they DC'd. Vote dismiss went through though. We all kind of awkwardly laughed, and dropped to requeue with our respective buddies.

Controller is not a problem at all. You're crazy. This is such a non-issue.

Generally, no. It’s not. But it can be incredibly cumbersome to mess with AST’s cards on a controller. Especially when Divination and Sleeve Draw line up and you have to throw all those cards around in such a small time frame.

Honestly the only time Clemency gets a brow raise from me is if the PLD is using it at 70% or higher health while I have a healing spell in the process of being cast. Otherwise? Eh, by all means make my job easier.

To be fair i have seen pld and whm playing that way. Pld casting clemency with req buff and whm spaming holy.

Cept the tank didn't put on their tank stance till the last 20% of the fight, so here I am tanking it as a DRG.

Loaded into a PVP match today as Flames with 8 people missing from our Alliance, and while the other two alliances got pick ups the party I was in remained 3/8 for the entire run. In spite of that we actually did pretty really and it was only really poor ice spawns that snatched second place from us. Once we realized that though it seems we all just decided to throw our hands up and have some fun. Mael ended up parking outside the last ice and we just all sat on a ledge above them and decided to be annoying, even as they holmganged us one by one off the ledge. It was a funny end to a match I expected to go a lot further south than it really did.
