Also love those PF parties "help me get mount pls". I don't know what some people are thinking![]()
This probably is just going to sound like whining, but I really don't know why I try when need/greed rolls clearly favor the people who didn't do jack shit (on my end).
I explain bosses, show people mechanics, show people the fastest way to get through a dungeon, I'm patient, I do my positionals when DPSing and DPS when I can when healing and I do my best.
And I roll a 6 on the minion when the other DPS wasn't AOEing, the tank was running in circles so I couldn't land full damage, and the healer was on follow while their pet did the healing.

Not succumbing to groupthink since 1991. | Lalafell aren't kids or child-like, and I do not care what your opinion is on that point.
I'm honestly inclined to give a leader first dibs between at least organizing the party, being the longest one waiting, and handling the monotony of repeatedly queuing up. Of course, it's also important they meaningfully contribute to the process.
Otherwise, I've been burned on too many mount farm parties where 3-4 people get theirs and suddenly they're not in the mood anymore. Had someone who wanted a Ravana weapon for glam the other day while I still needed that bird, so joined as well as someone else, then random come-and-goers for WT. Eventually coaxed the leader to just let us trio it. When the first mount dropped and I won lot, I affirmed the other guy I'd stick around as I promised to. Took maybe 10 or so more until it finally dropped, but I guess I made their day. Think we probably did 30 fights total.

Nowhere does it say "I don't DPS as a healer". "I didn't pick healer to DPS" =/= "I don't dps as a healer lol". Stop trying to be internet hard man.
Anyways, I think I completely fail as a SCH. Got Susano last night, tank took too much damage and I couldn't look away for a second because their health would plummet. Same thing happened in Sirensong. Don't think I really understand this class rip.
SCH takes some time getting used to but don't beat yourself up, these two instances hit pretty hard even for a well geared up tank
honestly once you get your head wrapped around it its the most fun class to play for me healer wise. instead of relying on regen I'm working smarter on cooldowns. its bled over to my other choice in healer being WHM. actually enjoy scholar a bit more now than i did pre ShB though
Getting reaaally tired of people afking/trying to justify afking.
Obviously, I have no way to confirm the person was having controller issues, but if that other person somehow knew, why not say anything on their behalf? Funny, though, how ControllerIsssues guy magically stopped having controller issues after I told them to stop afking. Interesting how that works.
Also, the person who said "brb a sec"? Bullshit. They went afk for the majority of the raid after that, and would not accept a rez after the other healer gave them one. I was playing AST, and none of these goons got my cards after that garbage exchange. Gave them to the quiet BRD that was actually pushing buttons.
Reminder that "it's just ____, dude" is not an excuse to afk. Kindly sod off with that nonsense, thanks. Man, I'm easily annoyed today, and this didn't help.
