Reminds me of a PotD-story that was nearly the same. First they complained because I was "wasting time to collect (gold) chests", then they complained about me "wasting the items" I just gathered myself. This is not from duty finder but a run with randoms in HoH:
I am seemingly one of the few people that go around and get the chests. I dont go to rooms far away, I mostly just gather those that are in the same room on the way to the exit which people even leave a lot of time...(one even said that they were too lazy to get the silver chests next to them because they are useless..)
So I am a bit annoyed when I had one group of players where I popped two primals which I mostly gathered myself and got told that I should not waste them on lower floors..when I questioned why, they said that it can be used on the boss..when I said that its much better to use it at floors because the boss is death quite fast, they suddenly said that I should keep them to floor 28 and beyond because its much harder there. (And calling me a dummy too) On the next floor (which was below 28) we had a bad effect on the floors and suddenly they were like: Look we could have used one now...I kept quiet but thought: But its still below 28...Then after beating the boss, I just wrote: Floor 29 really was hard.
I know I was a bit sarcastic there but I was quite annoyed. First most threads I have read on the internet always stated that you should not keep them for bosses (other than Odin) because its much better there...then the upper floors (as in floor 28-29) are not that much harder. I have seen more near wipes on the lower floors thanks to the red wheels than I have ever seen on the upper floors. Second there is no guarantee that there will be negative effects on the higher ones so keeping it for that is just not reasonable imo.
In the end the floors 28 and 29 were easy and short, while the floors that I used them on were long. The last one I used even had the maximum amount of floors and the exit was on the end of it..
So for me its never a waste no matter the floor as long as you do it at the start and have no other pots to use that can wipe floors..but seemingly I am the dummy (who gathered them anyways..)
Starting to lvl GLD I get to lvl 16 and press auto equipment, then proceed to queue for Sastasha.
At the first pack of mobs I die due to not getting a single heal and, sure enough, I notice my HP drops a bit quickly for a tank but nothing to be worried about, its Sastasha after all.
After that we continue without problem until we get to the Captain´s quarters. Then, the healer notices my shield gives INT and my gloves are for crafters. Keep in mind thats the only non tank pieces of equipment I had, since I checked after that notice. After that notice the heals just stopped coming: she let me die while healing the dps, even though I tried to keep doing my job rushing from the shortcut each time I died.
Shortly before the last boss I call out on her, that even though my equipment might not be optimal I´m doing my job (remember we had no problems until she stopped healing), which is something that can´t be said about her. Just as the last boss starts I get vote kicked.
She had the dubious honor of being the first person I blacklisted ever.
The majority here says it enough that you should def report these people, so I'm not gonna add anything more since enough has been said.
However I can comment that you CAN get doom on Therion if you stand under him when he does the big leaping attack forward. The aoe that's behind him can cause doom if you get stuck in it.
As much as I dislike when tanks don't have updated gear, I think the entitled healers you sometimes get who don't heal when they notice something wrong and only complain and moan about something pertaining to the tank or dps are the worst.Starting to lvl GLD I get to lvl 16 and press auto equipment, then proceed to queue for Sastasha.

Like, I get healing can be super annoying, I did it for 4 years, but it doesn't excuse your crappy attitude and disregard for the other 3 people in your party.
Watching forum drama be like
Sorry, but after checking your equipment on Lodestone, I don't believe you are telling the whole truth/story here.
Your current equipment:
right side: lvl 18 NQ DoW head, lvl 20 NQ tank chest, lvl 17 DoW hands, lvl 17 NQ DoW waist, lvl 15/i17 dungeon tank pants (decent), lvl 15 dungeon feet (somewhat decent)
left side: everything's fine except the eternity ring
Just saying that your gear is low NQ Disciple of War equipment, nothing from Hall of Novice "brand-new" gear except the ring. The pants you have are the only decent tank gear... now! I wonder what pants (and feet) you had before you ran the dungeon...
Eternity ring gives nothing - zero - not even 1 def... any ring is better at this point.
'cause you left out many details I can only assume that healer was basicly babysitting you 'til the last boss.
With decent tank gear ("brand-new") you've had at least 50 more defense points from your current gear, not taking to account that you had crafter hands when you ran this... even with the tank mastery I bet you still got hit harder than the DPS/caster.
And tbh I expect more from someone who has multiple jobs on 80, one of them is even a tank job...
Remember you aren't required to go through Hall of the Novice on a tank to get the Ring. It is possible that someone ran it on a DPS/Healer and just forgot to do it on their tank for the tank armor, especially since, for some reason, Sastasha never dropped the same type of armor the Hall drops.
Yeah, if I were the healer in this run and didn't see any brand-new ring on a sprout tank, I would've given them the benefit of the doubt. Would've told them to run Hall of Novice for that nice "brand-new" gear after the dungeon.Remember you aren't required to go through Hall of the Novice on a tank to get the Ring. But in this case said GLA has multiple jobs on 80, including a tank.
So I expect them to get decent gear before jumping into a dungeon - doesn't have to be "brand-new" gear, but at the very least lvl 15 TANK gear. Half of their equipment was in NQ and Disciple of War gear.
Honestly, I am not surprised that the healer had 'enough of their sh*t'. You shouldn't be expected to babysit people that have finished the next 2-3 expansions. Not getting adequate gear is basically neglecting your job, I can (almost) not blame the healer not doing theirs'.
You have no excuse whatsoever to be queuing for a dungeon in the wrong gear. I feel more bad for the healer, not you.Starting to lvl GLD I get to lvl 16 and press auto equipment, then proceed to queue for Sastasha.

Well, remember the healer had no problem with me until we reached the final part of the dungeon. Also, inmediately after that I went to get some new ítems and ran Tam Tara (I had gained two levels with the exp) and it was a smooth run.
The Healer is keeping the tank alive =/= The tank is doing just fine
After healing enough content it becomes instantly noticeable when a tank is getting hit like wet paper bag. The only time I should be casting heals heals heals is if the tank is doing wall to wall pulls. If the tank can't handle small pulls without me having to spam cure, then something is fishy.
