Could they have been bots?

It's fairly probable as I noticed groups of gladiator bots going around on multiple servers earlier today.

They don't teleport around like the usual gil farmers do, so the only thing that really gives them away is the fact that they form a conga line if they're together and mirror one another's movements perfectly.

It's a little concerning that they apparently have the entire MSQ routed out and are able to get through it without use of hacks, though it naturally involves getting carried through instances by actual players because it's not a "team" effort like it is with the gil farmers who operate in their own parties.

Got into Holminster's and got a pretty under geared PLD. Turns out they had run out of poetics for Scaeven gear lol. The tank wasn't the issue though and neither did I have an issue with the small pulls.

My issue was with the SCH healing the instance. By TWELVE... It was awful. Under geared horribly, Constant Adlo spam, running out of mana as a result and using Succor when only the tank needed heals. We managed to get through past the 2nd boss, but that's when everything went down hill.

We wiped at the single packs in the plaza, and I had to teach the SCH to Adlo the tank before the pull and just spam Physick and, if needed, Emergency Tactics+Adlo if they had no more Lustrates. Got through that just fine afterwards. Then we got to the final boss and wiped 3 times, the SAM leaving after the 2nd wipe. Each time we wiped, it was because the SCH was the first to die.

After we finally got through that ordeal... the SCH had the nerve to say "Never give up!" and I swear to unholy cannoli, never have I ever in my entire life have I felt such a raging headache that could be compared to the blazing rays of 1000 suns magnified into my eyes.

Just got out of The Burn. The party was very nice - nobody was causing drama. We kept wiping to the last boss, though. (I guess the dungeon hasn't changed much?)

I want to report the shortcut for harassment. Shortcuts are supposed to be short. I know it was there, silently laughing to itself. "haHA! Now you must run halfway across the dungeon to challenge the boss to a rematch! AGAIN! Mawwhahahaha!!"

Did a run through Stone Vigil yesterday. We had a tank who didn't speak a word. Never used tank stance. So i had to tank half the dungeon on my NIN. Healer was really good and we wiped only once. The group actually was quite nice, we chatted for a bit, had a few laughs. We kicked him after the second boss. Then we got a nice replacement tank and were able to finish the dungeon without any problems.
It likely was a bot, but who knows.

After doing a little look into it, yeah I think the tank was a bot. What caught me off guard was the fact they had a normal name.

I'm not a healer main in this game, though I have been in other games... I'm not offended by a tank using their toolkit to survive. Do some of them pull that tool out a little early? Sure, that's inarguable. But I wouldn't take that as a slight against me, just them being overly cautious.

That's why I dislike caster's in FF14 having basically infinite MP. Usually MMO parties should revolve around saving healer MP so they don't run out of mana and everyone dies. With healthy gmeplay mechanics, healer mana should be the most valuable ressource to a party. That way every little skill to self heal or mitigate damage becomes infinitely more valuable that 1 additional GDC of DPS. But as we know this game is all about DPS, where wasting healer mana to keep DPSing is considered normal ^^ Like who cares, they'll have full mana again in 3 seconds anyway.

After doing a little look into it, yeah I think the tank was a bot. What caught me off guard was the fact they had a normal name.

The "legit" bots that don't use hacks use character creator names to make themselves less conspicuous.

I've also gotten them in instances before and rather quickly convinced the party to kick them when they kept messing up mechanics, were horribly undergeared, and didn't have their job even though they were level 40+.

Oopsie on my part. I forgot that the second after I reached 70 on WHM back in SB I stopped playing the class entirely to focus on level grinding other classes up to cap. Now, this would have been fine, if my grinding actually involved me doing the 61->70 class quests. Yep, you can tell where this is going. Who forgot to get Planery before queueing for an Alliance Roulette today? Me... Who ended up in Orbonne with a nerfed kit? Me... Who immediately dragged their butt off to finish the class quests the second the raid was over? Me...

During MSQ roulette last night I spent more time healing the second healer than anything else. They spent more time on DPS, which left me healing the tanks and them than being able to assist with DPS myself. Always fun times in MSQ roulette, you truly don't know what you're gonna get during that experience XD.
