So. This happened like an hour ago.... I'm still shocked lol

I saw the stories. Read the posts, here and on reddit. I just didn't think they really truly existed... until now.

Okay I'm being dramatic it's not like there were all-caps rants but let me get to the backstory and then the drama - The Vault on my DNC, and a very a n g e r y WHM. To start off their heals were extremely weak, like almost nonexistent. Tank nearly dies every fight. Opened WHM's gear panel expecting the worst, and got not quite the worst but still pretty bad. Ironworks gear and a white level 50 cane in a level 58 dungeon. I'm pretty sure their gear was broken, too.

Whatever, let's just clear this dng and I can move on. Get to the last boss and we wipe after the healer dies because they're squishier than a Pudding. Then I chime in (mistake), and they get a little... defensive. (whm is green tank is blue)



I'll be honest I didn't have the best responses, and my inital comment wasn't exactly helpful?(and the memes, i'm sorry for the memes) but I was just annoyed after the wipe and then I was just. In shock lmao I've never personally had someone get so mad at a comment before! And they had the gall to say I was mad? Thankfully the nice WAR did what I was too stunned to do and vote dismissed them.

But yeah rambling aside I just don't understand these kinds of people. -accurately- Calling your heals pathetic is harassment?? Verbal assault? How do they function? ugh. Thankfully they're in the minority.

Poetics. Vendor gear. Even NQ vendor gear is better than a Shire Astronomer, than 69 Chakrams from Castrum Abania, than your entire gearset. For the love of Menphina's bodacious boobs you're wearing Ryumaku, you KNOW HOW POETICS WORK.

Not much of an excuse, but I don't think the weapons were available for tomes before the xpack dropped. Maybe they weren't aware that they don't need to run raids for random geegaws anymore.

I have no idea how this twat AI managed it but when I returned 2 minutes later Urianger was dead, Thancred was dying and a wipe it was.

I haven't done thousands of them yet, but out of all the dungeon runs I've done with Trusts, Urianger is the one that dies the most. And only to avoidable aoes mind you. I wonder what part of his personality THAT'S supposed to reflect.

I haven't healed in a while, and tried to jump back into it recently. Had a few rough runs of some Level 50 content on WHM. Felt embarrassing. The oddest part is that I had an easier time managing Gubal Library. Maybe I just do better with four party members rather than eight.

On the plus side, I had two undergeared sprout tanks in MSQ roulette parties recently and politely advised both of them how they could buff up. Both of them were very cordial about it, even though I was kind of tense, especially given they could see they had the lowest HP in the party. Feels nice when people can accept advice without getting defensive.

To the group that I got for A Relic Reborn: the Chimera, I am sorry I didn't do anything. Right as we zoned in(before the gates even dropped) I was pulled away due to a hard thump of someone falling. I know it's an easy trial to begin with, but still, I hate not doing anything when I queue up for a duty.

You weren't even rude about it. "You really need to upgrade your gear" is a pretty neutral and helpful response.

Got a silly story. Dun Scaith for roulette and DPS were on top of it. Everything was dying as fast as it could. Scathach started summoning Connla. She's almost dead so everyone ignores it. He walks over and all the ranged get out of the way figuring what's about to happen. He does his attack and it looks like he kill her. I thought it was funny.
