Honestly, I think we would have. I was certainly irritated. But they made sure to not roll on any of the loot that dropped.

So it seems that DPS believe the tank stance changes mean it's a-ok for them to just run forward and start attacking without even pretending to let the tank pull anymore.
You just reminded me of that one time where I ended up on Shinryu (when it was 'the' hard thing to do) in progress for a roulette, and when I arrived, I saw people arguing with this black mage who was so badly stuffed it was just... I mean, frightning. He kept saying that 'MSQ dungeons and trials don't need us to be stuffed because it's made so it's easy to do even without stuff or else it's no fair' or something along these lines.
I don't think I'll ever forget that BLM lol
Yeah guess I can share my own Story this time. Was playing GNB and decided to do some Tanking. Now, I have some minor experience in this role, used to play Paladin on another character I had but deleted. I also have experience playing Healer and DPS Roles (Yay for White Mage and Red Mage). Most of the Dungeons I have gone in usually involve Dancers lately and I guess it's the fact that a lot of us are still working out the finer details but uh.. It's very frustration when almost every Dancer throws their Chakrams before I get a chance to pull with my AoE or Single Target Enmity. Provoke only gets me so far with a specific number of foes so I have to spam AoE Rotations as Gunbreaker to get that Enmity back on me.
Also doesn't help when my HP gets dangerously low, I start to wonder why, and realize that the Healer is apparently confused and thinking they are a DPS Class instead. Like. No.. If my HP is near the 20% mark I panic slightly due to anxiety. Please just, do your job and cast Cure on me please. Just keep me above 40% and we are good. I don't wanna get too close then get hit by a Surprise Tank Buster. @~@
I got stuck in a 1100 player queue to get onto Gilgamesh, it took 70 minutes for me to get on. So I decided to watch my fiancee do her Alliance roulette to kill the time and because I haven't actually played with DNC myself and figured it would be interesting to watch.
She gets Weeping City. The trouble starts on the 2nd boss. During the first boss no one used the LB, so they had 2 full LB bars. Because DNC is a ranged she said, "I don't want to lose the LB so I'll pull with it." And does so.
Immediately the healers get upset with her for wasting the LB. She points out that they would have lost the LB upon the boss being pulled anyway. They argue that she's wrong and the LB would not reset and to never ever use the LB, especially in a 24man because it's only for healers.
During the boss they lose about half the party to Mega Death. Healer comments how it would have been nice to have LB3, but they don't because she "wasted" it pre-pull. She agrees not to use the LB before Ozma, thinking that maybe there was some sort of LB change in the expansion notes and that she really had wasted the LB. I checked for her and found nothing, but she still said she would hold off to appease the healer.
So the party gets to Ozma. 2 full LB bars. Ozma is pulled. The LB gauge resets to 0. Selli points out that the LB was reset as soon as the boss was pulled, that there was no change to the LB, and that she had not wasted the LB at all. The healer still tells her that she is wrong and, "As far as I'm concerned, you can't be correct because you died and I haven't died at all." It was at that point that I told her there was no point in trying. They weren't going to listen to her or pay attention to the facts because they wanted to be right and couldn't handle being wrong.
The party gets to Calofistari with another full LB gauge and once again it resets as the boss is pulled. I'm pretty sure the party was watching the LB this time because another one of the DPS commented, "Huh. Didn't know that." The healer made no further comments and left the instance immediately after the final boss was defeated.
I have a second story that happened when I finally managed to get onto Gilgamesh again. We've been doing the MSQ together and unlocked the level 73 dungeon today (GNB and DNC have been distracting us). We queue up and get a pop fairly quickly. I love big pulls, so after seeing how the first and second trash pull went I decided to pull two groups.
After I burned through a majority of my cooldowns, I realized that I was in a little bit of trouble with the mobs all being a fairly even sub 25% but all still very much alive and hitting me, so I popped Living Dead. It actually procs and I pat myself on the back for popping it as the trash pack dies. We move toward the first boss and then it happens.
I drop dead.
I lay there for a moment, stunned. Selli is laughing at me, the healer is confused and asks what happened and why I'm suddenly dead. We quickly explained Living Dead and what happened and we all had a good chuckle out of it.
A little later we did have a hiccup where Living Dead went on cooldown, but I never got the buff. Healer managed to get me up and Selli kept herself alive long enough for us to recover. The mobs did chew through the other DPS before I was able to collect them again, but we avoided a full wipe.
Also we all fell off during the final boss. Running is hard.
It was a good run. I quite enjoyed the dungeons we've experienced so far.

Had a fellow dancer DPS, not a single AOE in Sirensong Sea. Took a lot longer than I would have liked.
Thanks for helping make the FFXIV community a fun and welcoming place. If you're not sure you have (and you very likely have), make it a point to be patient or helpful the next time you log in so that you can know you've made a difference.
If you're on the Aether data center, congratulations! I might be your nextexciting adventurehealer in the Duty Finder. Please look forward to it.
I wonder how long it will be until we see stories about level 80 gladiators in roulettes.
Trusts.... do not use aoes.
Like, the system is cool, but watching a RDM and a DNC npc not use any aoes made me die inside.
