So last night I logged on for a bit. I've pretty much got everything done that I want to do before expac but friends were on so hey, socialize.

One of my friends decides they are going to do Expert so I tag along. My bard gear is decent so I took that. We spawn in to a BLM and a SCH (my Friend was DRK). Its the Burn and BLM says its their first time. They are wearing the 290 set which at first I assume is a glam but alas--is not.

Cue me doing most of the DPS as BRD. The BLM had some accessories that buffed them to the ilvl reqs, and they were pretty inuitive considering it was their first time (and our SCH was awesome--I gave them my comm) but still. I'm fairly certain the were mostly single-targeting (because I literally had to use Tactician multiple times when usually a single refresh from...whatever that old DRG skill is called, will do). Thankfully with 3 vets we cleared but I haven't had a struggle like that in a long time. Good thing I know my bard rotation nearly as well as my Main's or that would have taken even longer. -Got to off the boss with LB2 though, so it wasn't all bad.

I feel you. I did the same on Twintania and I ended up falling in love with her, so now I’m rushing her through the story because why not. Orz

Lol My girl is 51, and now I'm stuck at Castrum cause I don't wanna do it. This is the fastest I've ever leveled an alt!

Honestly, it wasn't THAT bad, but I get really upset when someone is causing the problems and then tries to critique everyone else.

Sohr Khai on my storyline bby whm alt (aka, a whm I take through content to watch/read everything).

Everything went fine. Things were dying super fast, mechanics were mostly followed. BRD pulled once before tank but never again, they were all picked up, I was Holy + Aero 3 + Assize spamming to my heart's content.

Get to the end, smack my 'thanks for the run, have a wonderful day' macro at the exit (seeing that everyone's still there), give comm to tank (would have liked to comm everyone, damage was on point, but tank was so beefy 99% of my time was spent dpsing if I even managed to do that before mobs were dead), roll on item. Get two of the usuals: "ty" and "same to you bud".

One of them says "smd".

I... I think I know what that means... and it's kind of rude and I don't know why it's been said because all I said at the beginning was I'm gonna do my best and at the end I hope everyone has a nice day!! I've kept up, healed, no one ever got close to dying, I -

...Exit out to 3 commendations and all the loot...

I hope that doesn't mean what i think it means, does the sm stand for See My? i get lost on slang at points nowadays. if it does i hope that was a mistype because that really shouldn't be said to random people.

Lmao I lowkey upset.
Yesterday I did palace of the dead, we were four at the start, a tank, a dragoon, me and a bard.
So basically everything was fine until the bard decided to suddenly leave our party for no logical reason. We got nearly wiped due to this until a new party member joined us.

On the same day , I also did the keeper of the lake dungeon. After waiting 10 minutes, dungeon finally starts.
And guess what our healer and tank did, immediatly left the dungeon without a single word leaving the dragoon and me behind. We were pretty mad but got a new healer ( who had every class maxed and was obviously a long time player and was so nice to gives us advice) and a pretty good tank.
We finished the dungeon really fast.

*Sips tea* so unskinny of those people to leave.

Same, tbh lol. Between the Road to 60 buff, the friendship circlet, Brand New Ring, and the Earrings, she was level 30 by the time she got to Ifrit. X3 I even decided to farm PvP for the Styled for Hire hairstyle for her.

I don’t blame you. I get kind of irritated when healers will be like “pull more” > “now slow down” > “muh MP” as they don’t use Lucid and heal with Cure III... But I bite my tongue usually unless I’m getting particularly annoyed.

Awesome. This reminds me of an officer in an FC I used to be in who refused to do their job quests and kept trying to clear The Vault as a CNJ, and trying to get me to offheal it as a SMN. Wasn't gonna happen. I also misread the first two lines as a different song before it twigged (saw it quoted in a later post), so I thought I'd roll with it:
