Sometimes I wonder myself if there are legit people behind these characters or...Encountering a Fire III Mage in Level 70 roulette. Was very easy to notice because there was a huge lack of Fire II, Flare and Foul (but hey, they remembered Thunder IV is a thing). Also mobs were dying pretty slow, despite a SAM+BLM combo.
On the last set of mobs, I paid attention to the party list to really make sure I wasn't just imagining things. They really were just spamming Fire III (I asked in party chat if that's all they were doing. No response. During final boss, I was still paying attention to the party list and they were still spamming Fire III. "You are!" was the last thing I said to them).
This.
This was Titan hard btw. But in the end I pretty much said screw it, took threat from the other tank, took em near edge, other tank tried to get it back, I jumped around him and bewildered him to add pressure, easy to do to novice tanks, and got him knocked off the ledge so hed stop being trouble. Won the fight, got my comms, other tank said some death threats about my mother, everyone had a giggle, job done, left.
Yep.

Yep.(I'm speechless, lol.)
I was doing roulettes with my partner to level DRG, and we got Aurum Vale. The tank was being pretty ambitious with how many mobs they were pulling, so I checked them and they were level 70 with almost consistently i400 gear, so I figured they were probably just in a rush to do roulettes, as people like that always are. Then I noticed within like 20 seconds they had no TP, so I gave them Goad, but they just never seemed to have any ever. I asked them, and they said it was because they were using Total Eclipse. Which I mean, fine, whatever, use AoEs with big groups, but the fact that they were always running out was annoying.
It was especially annoying when my partner, the healer, died to morbol seedlings because the tank insisted "tanks are just blue DPS" and I guess they couldn't bother to tank anything so both of them died and their BLM friend ran away with a single morbol seedling chasing them.
Aurum Vale isn't a hard dungeon, but people somehow always make it hard by being max level with max ilevel gear and still not knowing how to play properly.
the thing is tho, that's the only thing he did.No dots or aoes on neither mobs nor bosses.
Heck when we got to Nidhogg,Nidhogg trapped me with Sable price,no joke,6 freakin times(he had it in for me that day xD),twice through each of the 3 wipes.the SMN never went in to free me and instead kept spamming ruin on nidhogg and as u can imagine I died each time I was trapped.Couple that with the tank not aggroing the mobs away from estinien(the ones u can aggro them at least) and the SMN not using anything and we always wiped because poor estinien kept dying. Our poor healer tried their best to keep estinien at full health but the damage was just too much.
I understand that ruin spamming is a part of the SMN rotation but it's not the only thing a summoner can do
