Join them at the second boss. Learn that the level 37 Dark Knight forgot to do his job quests and thus doesn't have Darkside. (he promises to go do them once we get out, so no big deal)
We get to the last boss' door, and then find out that the party has completely forgotten to pick up any of the items needed to open it.
As we run back, I remember that "hey I think Quarn is also where I found an Astro who forgot to do their second level 30 job quest a while back", and with this deja vu and the tablet shenanigans, I remark something along the lines of Quarn being my place for bizarre experiences.
The DRK responds "Akasha's Bizarre Adventure!"
We make some JoJo memes and have a good time finishing the dungeon.

Just ran into Avatre in Ravana Ex (Mentor Roulette shenanighans)! Nice running with you! Been a while since I had actually done EX so I was like “Hmmm.... remember the mechanics....”

Apologies for the Shoddy SCH play. Bit rusty since I haven’t touched it much recently, but trying to flex my healers more instead of just playing AST. X3


EDIT: Did one more Mentor Roulette before dinner—Gubal NM. No big deal.

BLM got mad because the tank wasn’t pulling big, so he pulled for the tank. Died. I raised him, and he denied the Raise and released. I told him next time I just won’t waste my MP on him if he’s going to do that. He continues to complain about the tank not pulling big while pulling for the tank. The tank says he doesn’t want to pull big; I said no one cares about the pull sizes, and to just let the tank do what he’s comfortable with because he may not be comfortable with larger pulls even if he has level 60 gear.

The BLM’s response?
BLM: I don’t know how you managed to clear UwU. I cleared it before you. I cleared it Week 3.
Me: Am I supposed to care? I cleared it just fine.
BLM: You aren’t getting my comm. The other BLM is.
Me: OH NO WHATEVER SHALL I DO. NO COMM.

Honestly, I was amused at how salty he got to even think about Vote Dismissing him—most of this happened during the last boss anyways, so no point then really. I doubt that he’d even cleared UwU on a main, and instead was just being a jerk because the party was sick of his attitude. And I highly doubt that a Week 3-cleared UwU player would feel the need to brag about his accomplishment in Gubal NM of all places.

More of a personal annoyance with the raid loot system. I've run the Rabanastre raid 4 times working on my glamour and all I need are the hands, legs and feet. 4 times and so far the only Striking gear to drop is a belt. I really wish 24mans had a token system right now because this is getting really annoying.

True,but just the act of him pulling ahead of the tank can be reported as griefing(see my bout with the Dun Scaith monk 4 pages ago for example)

Cuz by that point he was harassing the tank in your party to force him into mass pulling

I couldn't give two shits if he cleared UwU or Ucob even if that clear is a day one world first clear,he either behaves like a decent human being or suffer the consequences for behaving like an asshat.

been trying to get the Ivalician Holy Knight glam from Orbonne for my tank but it rarely if ever drops and so far I only have the torso and leg pieces.

I kinda hope with the patch coming tomorrow or future patches before 5.0 that they'd just let us buy the armor sets using the coins

The biggest "Oh God No" run I had was me tanking Dzmael Darkhold as a WAR(I'm a lalafell) and having this one SMN actively make racist remarks about me being a lalafell up to the first boss. Saying things like "You stupid potato" and "All lalafells are just footstools and nothing more" while the heal and the dps were quiet the entire time. I ended up shirking them of spite, which caused them to die and they left right after.

Okay, happen some time ago. I usually play as healer but I was leveling my Bard so I jumped in the Roulette. Right at the start of the dungeon we had the most toxic healer I've ever met and not the funny ones with stupid raise macros. No, the "I'm so much better than everyone else type." So from the get go right after the first pull, the healer started to insult our Tank, a paladin, did a solid job never lost the agro to me or anyone else. But the healer insulted the tanks "weak pulls" and mocked that they are bad and can't pull more and so on. It wasn't a low level dungeon and as a player who doesn't really feel the need to rush, I didn't mind. Also when I play as a healer I tend to favor smaller pulls as well. Less stressed and not as risky, especially with first timers in the party who might want to enjoy the dungeon. (Happend more than once that I couldn't heal the tank in time because he or she thought; "let's pull half the dungeon, who cares!") So the healer mocked and annoyed our tank to the point she had to report him and we, of course, vote kicked. Got another healer and things went on fine. I never understand the need to do these massive pulls, if we die it takes even more time than just pulling smaller, it was not Sastasha or any low level one where it's less risky, so what is the point?

I wanna assume they were joking cuz eorzean racism for in-game races is something I rarely saw being taken in a serious context.... with the exception of harassments regarding accusing a lalafell player of being a pedo or into lolis
