I will honestly throttle the next set of childish ruffians who start arguing about BLM and SAM damage while I'm trying to tank through Ghimlyt Dark.

I had a healer who didnt healed me or the other tank in trial at all, we had only one healer that heal. xDDI do wish more healers would actually /heal/ in content instead of taking the time to DPS because they assume their co-healer can do all the heavy lifting. Especially when the party is dying left right and center due to standing in the bad and their co-healer is almost out of mana trying to keep people alive but they just keep spamming attack with almost full mana the entire fight. I keep getting into trials like this and it's starting to grate. Like if things are going smoothly I get it, by all means DPS. Hell /I'm/ happiest as a SCH when I don't have to heal at all and can let Eos do the work. I GET IT regardless of class. I can handle the bulk of the healing when people aren't running around like headless chickens and actually doing mechanics. Hells, I can handle it even if one or two people are doing that. But please actually help when it's the BULK of the party? This isn't just any one incident but many, many over the past couple weeks that are making my want to slam my face into my desk.
On the flip side I had the cutest run of Baelsar's Wall with a newbie healer today that made me smile. It was definitely a palette cleanser to see someone be new and take it all in stride.
Once the first healer died, i have seen zero heals whatsoever, everyone was dying and dps went all dead due to the trial specific mechanics and damage you cant dodge and he didnt even bothered to resurrect anyone or use LB. There was him, me and other tank left alive, he just watched the MT to die and then me.
And it wasnt a sprout, but a returning player on lvl 70... just wow where are they coming from.

This has consistently been my issue with Orbonne - WHMs don't even use medica II (which I'd accept as the "efficient" way to heal most nonsense, just keep DPSing), ASTs either run in the same sect (even when I change) or just don't throw out shields or regens, and SCHs don't use succor, even when the back-to-back AOEs are coming up. I've even had healers who sit there during the ultima ultimate phase and don't even cast a heal. Like... one healer can handle it, but they'll be severely short on MP at that point, where two healers together can come out with barely a dent.I do wish more healers would actually /heal/ in content instead of taking the time to DPS because they assume their co-healer can do all the heavy lifting. I get it, this is what I get for saying "give us back need," requiring people to queue on the classes they want gear for to get a better chance - but I'm going to be super selfish (/s) and demand you also... do your job. A good healer can heal and dps.

Ahhwwww <3 <3 <3Took my daughter through some low levelling roulette dungeons this evening, so she can level archer. She's been a BLM before, I've done healing and her dad's been the tank. Her dad's off on a business trip so she decided it was time to do something a bit different (although she's only played a week). Suffice it to say, she now really respects her dad's awesome tankiness (and her mum's mostly acceptable healing).
We did an Bismarck story run for our new fc member, got an heal who was.... .... .... he literally used lv 40ish stuff, the Garlean ilvl 150 chest with ZERO stats and some more glamour gear. We kicked him after our wipe but dam... he was a nasty one, had several crafters and jobs on 60 or more. Even IF he tried to cheat the roulet he couldve worn smt after ending there. And he glamoured over glamour items soo... it was on purpose i guess...

Still working on getting Rathalos Scales for the mount slowly, decided to try joining a Tank's 2 DPS, 1 healer party as a DPS. (I normally prefer 2 Tanks, 1 Heal, 1 DPS as the Healer, but hey, why not right?) Much regret was had. When we got Rath to the add phase, the tank proceeds to merrily grab the foothold and leave the add to murder me, the BRD and the healer joyfully, wiping the run handily. When told to grab the add and not the dragon next try, they then turned the tankbuster on the rider (me) and murdered my ass into a wipe because the add didn't die as a result. When we finally get that straightened out (note, they've already been getting hit a lot), they proceed to get hit by most of the claw attacks, not cooldown any stack markers they get, and RUN AWAY from any DPS that have stack markers (which the healer also did, run away with the stack markers, refuse to stack, great plan when not a tank!), so for the first time ever in that fight, I actually ended up using all my Mega Potions trying to stay alive.
The icing on the cake was after people ditched finally, I saw the Tank put up a new PF asking for 'experienced players only.' When they caused most of the wipes in that whole mess. I mean, sure, I suppose my 30+ prior clears so far could all have been luck and not 'experience' but hey, what do I know! >.> Some people....sigh.

Rarely do I ever see parents support their kids if they're hobby happened to be gaming....let alone actually playing with their kid through a game since 90% of parents I see thinks video games are made by the devil or some other stupid accusations.
Kudos to you for being an awesome parent ^_^
So today I had the joke boss Nabriales during trials and for strange unexplained reason, when the Dimensional tear phase started, one of the tanks didn't want us at all to go inside and do the mechanics. And then threw a hissy fit over it.
When that happened, the boss only had 10% of his life left and LB 3 was ready, so maybe he wanted us SAM (and only SAM as DPS) to use it? What do you guys think?

Fair enough. The chances of Holy are about 25%.Obviously it's dumb for anyone to complain about holy spam, but to be fair, considering how few white mages actually use holy spam I tend to just assume whatever WHM i'm partied with in duty finder is just not going to use it at all. Maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised sometimes but generally I just go off the assumption that holy is never coming.
